If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

Its just confusion. Its someone who started out with a good intention. And then made it into a religious observance. And then other people followed. Because you have to think that people just want to do what they think is right before the Lord. They just missed a few scriptures, I guess...

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

So what happened to those jots and tittles? You say because they were "on the side" of the ark you can just throw them out? Weren't they AT LEAST considered jots and tittles? Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass...

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

Lots of contradictions in your statement. If God doesn't change and neither will His Laws then what happened to sacrificing animals? Weren't those "Jots and Tittles" of the Law? If they were right then how come they are not right now? Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven...

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

IF that is the case then there is no point in Christianity and we are all doomed. Galatians 2:19-21 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in...

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

If the law is a spiritual law, and yet you try to work at it carnally in your own understanding and strength you will constantly fail. That is why your Righteousness can never come from your work. Your Righteousness only comes from Trusting in Christ. That is the job of the Law. To make you...

    Is it Just Me?

Morning time for me. Something to do with the attacks that come with night time and the new hope that comes in the morning.

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

The Law is condemnation and death to those who work at them. The Lord Jesus is Righteousness and Life for those who come to Him and abide in the Vine. 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and...

    Breastplate of Righteousness

Romans 8:31-39 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that...

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

That would be a bingo. Our blessing is in Christ. Not in our performance at the law.

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Who is speaking in Deuteronomy 31:8?? How is that different from Hebrews 13:5?? You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Have you heard that saying?

    Funny stories in the Bible

I think Elijah mocking the priests of Baal is the funniest part of the bible. But also when Gideon was hiding from the Midianites and the Angel of the Lord addresses him as 'Gideon, you mighty man of valor':ROFL::ROFL:

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Your believing is a gift. If it is a condition for salvation, it is a gift. John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If we are going to keep the SABBATH the 7th day, in HEAVEN, Why are not people keeping it now ???

Think about what the word sabbath means. Then think about Matthew 11:28 See if anything goes "click" into place...

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Salvation is a GIFT from God. ANYTHING that you think is a condition is in actuality a gift. What is amazing to me is that there are people who are Christians who don't know this.

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Its like I was predicting the future... Of course, if you were trying really hard to prove that once a person was flying they could stop flying mid-flight then you would ignore this aspect of the impossible situation. You would just say, "see right there, it says you can stop flying mid...

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Yes. It would be impossible, if a truly saved person who had been to Christ and all that entails, if they became un-saved for them to then become re-saved. It is impossible consequences deriving from an impossible hypothetical situation. It is impossible, if you were flying in a plane, if...

No. Its a hypothetical situation that is IMPOSSIBLE.

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Hebrews 6:4-6 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto...

Was the person who falls away drawn to Jesus by the Father?

Yes. That is what YOU THINK that verse says. But really what that verse is saying is that it is impossible for a truly saved person who has tasted the Heavenly Gift to fall away. But if they did then it would be impossible to come back from it. It is a hypothetical IMPOSSIBILITY.
