By it's very nature Christian Church doctrine builds walls between believers. I'm not talking about the basics like the nature of the Father or the identify of the Son, but the church doctrines; "proper" baptism, the Holy Eucharist, days, times and places of worship, "valid" prayer, acceptable...

I, on the other hand, have observed that when a husband or a wife loose a lot of weight bad thing follow in the relationship.

Do you worship that apple? Do you honor it with your works and your prayers? Do you seek to glorify that fruit above all else in your life? Is there nothing higher than that apple? Do you seek only to the will of that apple? If not it is probably just fondness. At least I think so!
