Why do Calvinists believe things the bible doesnt say ?

I don't think either Calvinists or Arminians believe 'all' will be saved. Cultists, who have some horrible doctrine, can be pretty effective in 'reaching out to the lost'. Actually sharing the Gospel requires the most exact doctrine... Galatians 1:9 (NASB) As we have said before, so I say...

Why do Calvinists believe things the bible doesnt say ?

I've read most of it and notice the topic of Predestination doesn't come up until Book III. Judging by the way Reformed Baptists speak (which are not true Calvinists), you'd think it was in Book I of the Institutes. Also have read The Belgic, Heidelberg, Westminster and the 1689. But it really...

    Visualization in Prayer

My point has been 'what is the source and impetus of the visualization?' Self or God's Word? You are giving examples where it is God's Word.

    Visualization in Prayer

Back then many of the songs were taken right out of the Scriptures, especially the Psalms and done, like you said, in a simple folk style. The musicians would also do their best not to draw attention to themselves.

Maybe that's why it is important that our minds be conformed to His Word. Romans 12:2 (NASB) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (visualize that)

I should rather say, "A theologian is a person who won't sing". (IOW, they can sing but they won't, because there is no joy to be found in them to express in song and praise.) - fixed it!

Are you that dense? Here is the OP's definition... " Our Father who art is heaven, hallowed be thy name: Psalms gives us pictures of the Father. He is spirit, creator, all powerful. Visualize what scripture tells of Him. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven: Visualize...

No, the problem is that you labeled it'visualization'. That's been the problem with this thread from the beginning. Would you like to tell us why you labeled it 'visualization? Was it naieveté or an agenda?

Apology accepted (but not needed) Dreams and God's Word was a comparison. What dream is equal to God's Word? The fact that it ought to be tested is evidence it is less than, or do you believe every dream without testing it?

All prophecy must be tested as there is much deception out there. (Just take a look at YouTube). That was your perception (assuming I was a cessationist?) There are true words spoken which accord with Scripture and there are lying prophets which contradict Scripture.
