I thought that Musk was going to fix twitter. Make it more about free speech.

How Has The Christian Chat Forums Made You Into a Better Christian?

I'm been wrestling with the idea of leaving CC. I've been asking myself, is this place helping me to go up, or is it dragging me down. I might be happy before I login, but often times I'm no longer happy by the time I want to logout. I read stuff that frustrates me, and some of that stuff is...

    Jordan Peterson suspended from Twitter

As far as I can tell, Twitter has never been a good platform for anyone that stands up for anything good.

    Today I found out...

When I made tails os usb, I found out that I couldn't fully erase it for regular use, without doing that stuff. I don't know why, but after tails os was on the drive, I could quick format it, and then I could use it. But if I ever tried to do a full format, windows and linux wouldn't do it...

    Today I found out...

After I used the dd command stuff, I had to do some additional adjustments to the partition. BTW if you clear off the partition, you can actually format a USB drive without a partition. Strange. I don't have the guts to run one that way. But it does oddly work. I have never seen that work...

    Today I found out...

Here is the instructions I followed to get my usb drive to work again. sudo blkid sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX bs=1k count=2048 sudo parted /dev/sdb mklabel msdos sudo parted -a none /dev/sdb mkpart primary fat32 0 2048 sudo mkfs.vfat -n "Disk" /dev/sdb1 * It recommends that I use...

    Today I found out...

Back when this first happened to me, I tried Gparted to make the MBR, but it refused. I tried Windows, and Windows refused. After doing some research I found the dd command, and in my test, when a drive is this far gone, only the dd command worked!

    Today I found out...

I had it happen to me at least two times. Maybe even three times. This was the second or third time. So I went ahead and gave it a try. You couldn't reformat. Your computer won't recognize the usb drive at all. It takes a special recovery program to get the information. As far as i know...

    Today I found out...

It's been a couple of years ago... I think it was some kind of boot recorder problem. All of a sudden no computer could see the drive anymore. Gparted had a terminal command like like application that allowed me to copy off the files anyways. After that I think I had to use the dd command to...

    Today I found out...

I had a sandisk usb drive sorta die on me. But I was able to use gparted live OS, to recover the files. Then I was able to fix the Usb drive, and it's been working ever since. Granted it took me several hours to do it.

I'll say one thing good about my Dad. He's been married to my Mom for over 50 years.

My Dad just buys plants that resists the mold long enough to produce enough for us. He's pigheaded. Getting him to try something new is like trying to pull teeth.

From our understanding it's some kind of mold. That probably got introduced into the soil by some infected plants. Anyways it's really hard to get rid of.

My Dad grows tomatos out in our garden. We don't grow anything that big. We got something bad in the soil that destroys tomato plants.
