I was not raised in a Christian home, and endured horrific abuse. In my late 20s I read a book called "The Late Great Planet Earth". I still have a copy of it. I was extremely hostile about Religion and very angry. So, one Saturday I decided to read that book and prove in my own mind that everything it said was nonsense. Oddly, there were several Bibles in the house, and God only knows how they got there. It took me two week ends to read it and by the time I got done, I knew that I had been terribly wrong and that there was a Jesus Christ. I was greatly surprised that God loved me and that he had sent his Son to us to die for our sins. It was April of 1974. Its been 47 years.

Life is difficult at times, and sometimes it breaks one. Still, there is God and he knows us. These days life is comfortable and I am thankful.

I read the Late Great Planet Earth too as well as other Hal Lindsey books. God does indeed know us. Enjoyed your testimony.

Glad you are doing well in life.. But i am so happy when ever i read about a person coming to know and love Jesus.. Especally when that someone has had a very bad start to their lives on this earth.. :) May the LORD continue to give you peace and may you always trust in Him no matter how your life goes from now on..

Yes my story similar. All though you sound a bit more of an isolated, rough soul. I am a ball of cotton yet like a good strong metal 😀

I always believed in God. God has never failed me and I will never question him. I grew up in a loving Christian home and always attended church every Sunday. I'm just now questioning how people can be so evil and vile towards other human beings. I was raised to love everybody, and not be hateful towards anyone. I never understood people actions through violence. I never understood people who's mission in the world is to help others but they turn around and hurt the same people they vow to help. Have I given up on God, because of other peoples actions? The answer is simply NO. It just makes me realize how i never want to be an individual like that. How i would never raise my kids to be individuals like that. I will continue to have faith in God, and also keep being a believer of his faith

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your testimony, Katia! And PRAISE God for calling you to Himself and giving you the deep, personal awareness of Truth!! 😊❤️ I have an estranged cousin (who I was very close to growing up) that has become very hostile to God and Christianity. Your post gives a glimmer of hope. ✨ "Father, please soften the hard-hearted and draw them into communion with Yourself! In Jesus's Name, Amen."
