I love this verse, and have found that many people have overlooked it. It has become my life verse.

"The Lord Your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

Isn't that a beautiful thought, that the creator of the universe will take great delight in you?!!

One afternoon I was driving home from work and singing praise songs along with a tape. This verse suddenly came to mind, and the Holy Spirit revealed to me that when I sing praises to God, He is singing them back to me! I was blown away!

When I got home, I went in to write this down to share with my Bible Study Group. As I was writing, the Holy Spirit began to show me new verses to hymns and praise songs, directed to my friends in the study. I have never had any talent for writing verse or songs, but these just flowed from my hands. I sang them to my friends later, and gave them a copy of their hymns with the verse. It was a blessed experience and one that I will never forget!

Later, I began to write new verses to favorite hymns that gave me great comfort. Again, I stress, I have never before or after been able to do anything like this, and believe that it was given to me by the Holy Spirit to encourage my Bible Study group. I will share one here, and hope that it encourages someone else. Remember, these verses are in response to praise songs and hymns, and are to the same tune.

To the tune of "WE BOW DOWN":

I came down, I traded My Crown for your sins and sorrows.
I gave of My blood, to show you My love; to give you hope for tomorrow.

I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!"
I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!"
I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!",
Come to Me.

Come, walk with Me, and talk with Me;
Take My hand, and I'll guide you.
Daiy seek My wisdom and love,
Keep My commands in your heart.

I cry, "Obey Me, Obey Me, Obey Me!"
I cry "Obey Me, Obey Me, Obey Me!"
I cry, "Obey Me, Obey Me, Obey Me!"
Show Me your love!

Give Me your life, give Me your love;
Lay down all of your burdens.
Bring your cup; I'll fill it up
'til you overflow with My love!

Come, drink of the living water,
Be transformed by the love of your Father,
Renew your mind and your heart in the Spirit;
Come to Me!

Come, drink of the living water,
Be transformed by the love of your Father,
Renew your mind and your heart in the Spirit;
Come to ME!

I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!"
I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!"
I cry, "I Love You, I Love You, I Love You!"
My Precious Child!

It's a lovely verse...just goes to show how much God really loves us. And the lyrics are really beautiful; I love the first two lines. ^^ Thank you so much for sharing them! It's truly amazing once we realize God's love and thoughts for us.
