Hi! My name is Andrew and I became a Christian 4 years ago in August at a Christian Camp in California which I did not attend to meet Christ.
My whole life my mom had been a druggie and went to Rehab when I was 10 years old. I went and lived with foster parents then. I smoked since I was 5 years old got kicked out of school the first day i went. Been expelled from 4 different schools. go arrested at 7 years old and have had to fend for myself since I was about 8. My brothers are following in my old ways and my 14 year old bruther is now in Rehab for drugs and my 17 year old who has been incarcerated for almost 3 years just ran away and has a warrant out for his arrest. my 22 year old brother got arrested 3 days ago. I joined a gang at 12 years old started selling Drugs/Women, and using weapons as a form of power and authority. I joined the gang because they took care of me and were family. Ive been shot at, Hit, Ive shot at others and by Gods grace and mercy I am not dead or in prison for life. My dad has been in prison my whole life and died 3 years ago. Ive been in more fights then I can count, Ive never had respect for anyone even myself, and No one has ever wanted to stay in my life for to long.
At 15 in a half years old I got invited to go to a camp for a church nearby and I knew there were going to be gang members there. I wanted to go fight them and show them how bad I was. We were sitting in a church service the first night and BAM God hit me in the face. SO hard i fell into my seat. God rained His blessing on me at that moment in time. I was talking to God and told God I was tired of living like this. God changed my life all because I asked Him to.
After that day i got out of my gang without any problems, I stopped drugs that week totally and no more addiction after doing them for 10 years since I was 5. i changed the way i talked. Granted it took me 2 years of being a loner in school to loose all my old friends and work on myself but after those 2 years were up my life became 180 percent turned around.
Only by Gods Grace and Mercy can we be saved. All we have to do is confess with our mouth and believe in our heart HE IS LORD and He will change your whole life around!
