The almighty has worked marvels for me

Hi, my name is Niamh and this is my story, I have been braught up as a Catholic and my family and I always attend mass every Sunday, I have always been encouraged to pray to Jesus and Mary and do the rosary, up until a year ago mass was something I did purely because it was the norm, I found it so boaring and it gave me an opportunity to think, I did pray but in a rushed frenzy, one day as after mass, I was going to light candles and I saw a poster for a youthfestival which was going on over the Summer and that was when I decided to sign up and go.
During the youth festival I was so touched and overwhelmed by Jesus during adoration of the blessed sacrament. I kept pleading with him to stay with me, words fail to describe the sensation but it compelled and evoked such love and joy. I knew the Lord was right beside me. Ever since then, my faith and my entire life has been transformed by the Lord, I wont lie and say it has been easy, temptations attack me all the time and there are times when I stray from the Lord but in my heart he is always there, I say yes and everyday I surrender to him and offer him my life, I really know the lord Jesus is there waiting to meet you and love you for he came that you would have life and have it to the full. Jesus is my rock and my salvation, my thoughts and prayers are with all readers of this post that the Lord Jesus will touch and speak to you, in his own special way.
