I was 12 years old, and we were moving to Texas. I have been drawing since I was 5, and would draw sceneries. We were in New Mexico, it was night time. There were a total of 8 people in the car, 2 adults, and 6 children...with full grown Saint Bernard.
This was the car

I remember thinking about God, and about how I can draw a night time scenery. I started to see a light on the horizon of the mountains, and I thought to myself "There must be a city over there!" the little white dot in pictures is our car.

I started drawing, and when I looked up, the light was changing...I started thinking at that point, that it might be a fire instead.

I was intrigued with what it might be, than the light changed more.

As we got closer, I started freaking out...what I was seeing, was not normal. Here was this human figure, glowing completely red, as if it was on fire...and it was climbing over the mountain. Thought I entered the Twilight Zone.

Once it climbed over, I seen it look behind us, and than back toward us.

All of a sudden, it started to run straight at us. I was soooo scared!

I ducked down, and closed my eye...than I heard a voice that said "Do not fear!"...When I looked back up, it was gone!
I than started thinking "Fear what?", but I did not get an answer. Curious of what it was looking at, I looked behind us. I seen some head lights turn onto the highway, and I immediately knew the were going to hit us, and hard. Tried to tell my mother, but she told me sternly to go to sleep. I could not, so I tried to tell my little sister, but she said she would tell mom that I was trying to scare her. I became silent, and watched, while praying. The car was getting closer, and closer, with great speed. When it got close enough, I ducked down again. The car hit us going 100 mph, smashed our trunk in, and threw our car 35 feet. My mother blacked out from whiplash, but managed with God's help to keep us on the road, and not in the deep ditch. The front, and back seat folded over us kids. Once we stopped, my mother snapped out of he blackout. We were all so quiet, and my mother started freaking out, thinking we were dead. The guys that hit us tried to drive away, even though their front vehicle was not touching the ground, due to being crushed upward. My mother tried to start our car to go after them. Something told me to tell her "No", and she stopped, especially when she seen that they were not going to get away. No one, not even them were injured! After emergency crews got there, and they took us to a motel. We found out that the two men, had just robbed a place at gun point, and they were jailed.
This is an event, I will never forget! Thank you God for being there.

Those kinds of things never leave you, but it was a blessing that God kept you all safe.

I love it because "Do not fear" came to me, than I learned it in God"s words in the Holy Bible. It showed his connection, and love for me/us. Yes, a hellhole, but he comes to save! :)
