1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat(Genesis 3:1-6).
Do not touch the tree does not seem to make a difference, for Satan only mentioned eating of the tree, but Eve might of been pointing out we are to not have anything to do with that tree.It would seem like if they cannot eat of it,what business would they have touching the tree and being around it.They should not be curious about it at all.
It seems like Eve knew the commandment before Satan tempted her.
Did Eve get her instructions from Adam,or did God repeat it to her,for she said,God said we may not touch it,or eat of it.
Satan did not tempt her and say Adam was wrong in his telling you the commandment, but Satan said God gave you a commandment not to eat of the tree because He does not want you to be like Him,and Eve let the temptation of pride get to her and she lusted after that tree, but who knows how long she thought about it first.
It looks like Eve was lifted up in pride to want to be more than her current state. It seems like she knew the commandment but she was tempted like people are tempted every day.
Satan used the woman to get to Adam and tempt him,and Adam listened to his wife above God.
First Satan tempted Eve by casting doubt in to her mind about what God said, but that did not work with Eve,and Eve told him the commandment, and it seems like Eve heeded to it to obey it,so then Satan did not cast doubt in her mind about the commandment, seeing that Eve understood the commandment and obeyed it,but tempted her with pride that she would be like God,be better than her current state, and Eve got lifted up in pride and lust and ate of the tree.
Satan tried to tempt her by saying did God really say that, but it did not work with Eve,for Eve told Satan the commandment, and understood the commandment and obeyed it,and the only way Satan could tempt her is to get her lifted up in pride and lust by telling her that she would be like God,be better than her current state,a temptation that she could of never known, that she could be like God,unless it was told her.
After Eve did not falter when Satan said did God really say that,Satan then did not deny what God said, and did not try to tempt Eve that God did not say that, for he could not get her with that, but tempted her to be lifted up in pride, which Eve fell for that.
If Satan never tempted Eve that she could be like God,it would seem like Eve would of never sinned, because she would of never thought she could be like God unless somebody told her, which Adam would of not thought of it either.
It seems like Eve knew the commandment and obeyed it,whether she heard it from Adam or God,not having a desire to eat of that tree, until Satan tempted her that she could be like God,lifted up in pride.
It seems like a sin of being lifted up in pride to be like God,and not that Eve misunderstood the commandment or did not believe it.
