FYI:
Did you know that Alabama is in the process of/or may have already completed their goal of no longer issuing Marriage Licenses? I am still checking to see if this HAS become Law, but here is the "gist" of what is happening. IF this works, then it should be a "Model" for other States to follow, right?

Alabama Senate passes bill to stop issuing marriage licenses completely

MONTGOMERY, Alabama, March 24, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- With a large number of Alabama judges refusing to issue homosexual "marriage" licenses, the state Senate has passed a bill to eliminate marriage licensing altogether.
The Alabama Senate voted overwhelmingly last week, 23-3, to stop issuing marriage licenses, and simply require couples to file with the state as married. That way, the state still recognizes marriage, while judges will no longer have to solemnize homosexual "weddings" and clerks will no longer have to sign gay "marriage" licenses.
The bill's author, State Senator Greg Albritton (R), told The New York Times that some judges had threatened to go to jail before performing gay weddings. Last year, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis refused to sign homosexual licenses, and spent a week in jail before being released. "Kentucky is a precursor to where we are headed," Albritton said.
VERY GOOD THIS!
Colonel John A. Eidsmoe, Senior Counsel for the Foundation for Moral Law (FML), an Alabama conservative group, told LifeSiteNews that his organization agrees with the bill's intent. "I see no reason the State needs to be in the business of issuing marriage licenses," Eidsmoe said.
"A license is a grant of permission, and we do not need the State's 'permission' to exercise a God-given right such as the right to marry," the Colonel added.
