"Child abuse charges against Lucas Morton, Subhannah Wahhaj and Hujrah Wahhaj were dropped because prosecutors missed the 10-day limit for an evidentiary hearing to establish probable cause,," Fox News reported.

Charges remain in place against Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Jany Leveille, who are accused of a variety of crimes related to child abuse after 11 children were found starving in the filthy compound.

Blame the DA. Once charges are filed the DA has a limited amount of time to arraign the suspect (something about the right to a speedy trial guaranteed by the 6th amendment). In this case the DA dropped the ball big time.

I just seen that the FEDS re-arrested all 5 of them and charged them under federal law
