I’ve discovered that being mean and nasty might give one a temporary lift, but it always comes back to haunt you:
But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says, `You fool!' shall be liable to the hell of fire. Matt 5:22 RSV
True it does give people a lift, and I have noticed some people in the world whose personalities are to belittle people and cut them down, and kind of hateful and mean, and you could tell they like being that way.
The flesh loves to belittle people, and cut them down, and be prejudice, because the flesh likes to exalt itself as superior.
People in the world are so hasty to cut people down, and like cutting people down, that they do not even take in to consideration how they act.
I have heard people cut people down, but what they are cutting them down about they did themselves, and sometimes worse.
They call somebody an idiot, and I say,you did the same thing last week,so you would have to call yourself an idiot.
Arrogance does not seem to reflect on their own faults when belittling others.Arrogance does not care if it has faults,it will belittle people.Arrogance does not care if they are worse than the people they belittle, they will still cut people down.Arrogance can steal a car,and then belittle someone for stealing a piece of bubblegum, and be hateful about it.
People call other people an idiot for making a mistake, but they made a mistake so they would have to call themselves an idiot.
