Lets see now...

- He won the nomination out of 13 (or was it 14) candidates including strong contenders like Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal even though everyone said he would never win it, AND he won it by the largest number of votes in a republican primary ever.

- He survived his own party trying to overturn his nomination

- He won the election even though all the polls said he was going to lose big

- He won the election even though Hillary's campaign spent roughly 8x's more money.

- He faced 3 recounts in 3 major states that would have given the win to Clinton and it just proved again that he won.

- They investigated the election for voter fraud and found practically none (a few idiots voted more than once)

- His own personal friend of many years (Mark Cuban) said during the campaign that Trump would never be president.

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
(Romans 8:31 NIV)

That is true. And it is true that some think the man does not deserve respect, but my point was that we should respect the position :)
I agree, my professor from last semester said he hated George Bush with a passion but never once disrespect the office of the United States. Thats why he finds it silly that people are protesting the president and wanting him dead instead of rallying around and try to make this work. Is he the best, of course not but we should at least respect the office and not make ourselves look like morons

If so many think trump is the answer to all of America's,(and the worlds) problems then the Antichrist is going to have an easier time deceiving people than expected.

what is disturbing to us is that our country has basically shouted-out to the rest
of the world that we are in total turmoil and dis-unity, this truly breaks the heart...

I don't believe him to be the answer, but a stop gap toward the liberal leftists who hate God and our country. That being said, I'm going to support Trump in that I hope he succeeds in ending political correctness and leftist idiocy for a season. :)

The latter rain has been going on ever since the Day of Pentecost and many souls have come in.

The Bible does not speak of mass revival in the time just prior to when Jesus returns but speaks of falling away***The Church will not be Raptured in less power than it was born with***The Church was born at Pentecost for the planting and beginning of the Church***the Latter Rain is given to bring in the harvest of souls***James 4:7 "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the farmer waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain."***David Wilkerson in his article 2008 "The Last Day Revival" stated: "Everywhere we turn in the last day, we will see God's glory breaking forth in a last revival." "Even now, we are seeing the beginnings of the last day revival as Acts 2:17 is being fullfilled."***Yes, there will be a great falling away at the Rapture when the Tribulation starts---as I remember the word falling away in Greek is apostacia (2 Thessalonians 2:3) having to do with the falling away at the Rapture when the Anti-christ is revealed...

Come on. Pray for your leader. You may have voted for another. If you are trying to bring someone down be very careful as it is a Christians job to build up. Your new leader needs your prayers.
I can't say I agree with my current prime minister, but I certainly dont want her to fail. I want her to do her best and follow Gods leading. While other past leaders have made decisions I've not liked, I can't say they didn't try to do what they thought was right to do. Even if their decision on whatever they did was wrong. We can pray they do Gods will.

I dont think people think Trump is the answer to all the problems, some may,but I dont think the majority did. I think they did not want to go the way of globalism and socialism,Trump was the better choice over Hillary. Pretty simple to many of us.

I will say the same thing that I said for President Obama: You may not like the man. You may disagree with him. Heck, you might think he's the devil himself, but the POSITION of president of the United States still deserves respect. Prayer for the country's leader is appropriate if we agree with them or not.

In answer to post#22, the only verses I could find quickly were Luke 1:52 (He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.) and Colossians 1:16 (For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.) Also, in the OT there is another passage in Daniel 5:20-21 (20 But when his heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.21 He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.)
