I have a new saying and it is not take care any longer. We shoud never take care, we should CAST care on our Lord. He tells us to come to him - think of all the hymns that have been written about this subject. Leaning on the everlasting arms, what a friend we have in Jesus, learning to lean, he's my rock, he's my fortress. There is not enough room on this page to list the songs that have been written about casting our cares on him. so CAST CARE my friends!!!!! God bless you!

:) that's nice but I would probably still give you a funny look if you said it to me lol.

1 Peter 5:6-8
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

eh.. but the real meaning of 'take care' is to wish someone well, to me trying to turn the meaning bad and change the wording to something spiritual is just really a psuedo-spirituality. People know what i mean when i say take care, no need to try to push some spiritual issue into it to make it 'more Christian'.

Interesting thought. Relying and leaning on the Lord.
