Does it bother you, if in a church the cameras are rolling around, and on you for the T.V. I've tried to avoid this church, but I feel called there, and the only thing that is distracting, is the cameras. I also don't like it, because it could cause stalking, and even wearing jewelry makes me feel uncomfortable, am I over reacting or does any one like it or it shouldn't matter, God's in control, IDK, I find it distracting, focusing on the Lord and this huge piece of equipment staring you in the face, need some help here. Thank you..

I've never dealt with that, but being the bassist at churches for the last ten years or so, I've had moments where I'd be on stage and they would want to focus a spotlight right on top of me as I'm playing, or put one right behind me so EVERYONE can see where I am. It was quite annoying. You know what I realized though? I looked in the mirror one day and thought, who wouldn't want to see this face? Honestly, I am Gods master work of beauty, and grace. Staring into my eyes is like tasting a pinch of heaven, it's glorious.

Maybe you're like me. You're just too good looking.

ha laughing, I in no wise am bashing any place, I know one rule of thumb, if you don't like then you know where the door is. Maybe your right, those who want to watch these services on the local T.V. cable, must want to learn about the lord, the other's I think the enemey would steer them away, if they did not want to hear. Okay, I feel a little bit at ease, knowing these things go on, but I got a lot of hats,,, big ones too,,, thnx. going to buy me a huge cow girl hat, that will settle it once in for all, and I do like them,,, I am not kidding, maybe they will come to the church just to find out where I got that hat. And women are allowed to wear hats in church. just saying. Too bad It wasn't longhorn country here, they'd all be coming in with em big wide hats. :) going now to find one online,,,

Thinking about this situation with the cameras. If the T.v or newspaper interviews would do that they need permission. I know I was asked before they videoed me about a store, "is it o.k. if we air this interview. On the local cable channel just as the church is, but they asked permission, in due respect." I think that is appropriate, and respectable. People go around utubing everyone and it is violating someone's rights, whether it, legal or not, It is.
When I was attending church in a Spanish/Ukrainian speaking church, the women always had their head covered with like a kerchief only if you wanted to. Jesus was Orthodox rabbi, and the Temple would never allow women to even sit next to men, the women sit on one side and the men on the other, with a white fence, you could barely see, but there was privacy, and no exposure, as to sit here and sit there, maybe a women doesn't feel comfortable sitting next to some one. Were taught to be modestly dressed, true, believing this, but then getting exposed on camera to who knows who, this is invading privacy.
If I lived down South, it would not be a problem going in with huge cowboy hats, but maybe it might be here, but, it is not comfortable either for some huge piece of camera to stand in front and distract the entire service, invading space, and very distracting. OUr freedom to feel secure and safe, comfortable, should not be so in a church, it is like this in the world, and in public places, but then a church is a public place. Am I wrong to feel this way, I don't feel safe, being exposed without my consent.,

Romans 12:1-2

king james version(kjv)

1.) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2.) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I had a nice day yesterday, Moms day. But I feel disrupted in my spirit about what happened at the church. Corinthians talks about, giving it all, works, monies, knowledge, but without love it profities nothing.

I even tried to say something silently to get her attention, as the camera was on me for over 5 minutes the first time, and then again, she said, "what is she sayinng, as the sound room was behind me, and there's a mic connection.
All this was just what the word speaks about, as the enemey sows tares and tries to steal our peace. I'm really wondering if this is the place for me and my family.
As it is close, distance isn't always an answer, as being closse in travel, might be very far as in relationships within the church.
Jesus taught, and told us, Love one another fervently.
If someone dosn't get the message being silenty signaled that they are not comfortable with that in their face, just sitting there, there is something missing, as a spark between one another, as a connection, in the spirit.
Religion, wars against following Christ. It is set on works, as relationship is based on the love of God, and not just reading, hearing, and knowing the word, but doing it,"Be ye doers of the word, and not just hearers.
I know this whole thing wasn't from the Lord, as I tried to get her attention, and as almost she wanted to start something, and spoke into the mic towards the back, to what was I saying, on Mother's day, disrespect, nothing new, they teach nothing in the schools, as far as their is a God, who is love, and sometimes nothing in the churches.
Will pray, this might not be for me us. There should be peace in my spirit, this is how the Lord talks to us, about something, if there is not, then it's the HOly spirit saying, get out.
But again, some are just immature, in the Lord, and pridefull, so this also needs to be addressed.
Thanks for sharing, your correct, we are the temple, in the lounge, there was a word of knowledge from a male, at the right moment when I was listening, he said,"the enemey, satan, will disrupt your emotions, and cause discouragement, and depression, oppression, just to attack your body, with nervousness.
We are not cloned people, but unique, and should all have the mind of Christ.
It's a shame I woke up with this on my mind, it just was disrespectful.

Luke 17:1

Here is the Solution, was lead not to leave that Church, but was lead to listen just now, to a message on offenses as posted above.

He has powerful, to the point messages, and this one at this time was needed.
The prayer at the end, brought me instant peace.
God is our provider, for peace, Love, Joy,, and he does not disappoint us when we turn to him with our needs.
He is faithful to us.

Putting this under the blood of Jesus.

Hoping that they will accept my cowgirl hat.
:)
