[TD="class: replycontent p1"]I feel like God hates me too. No matter how good my heart is towards other people - He allows me to be treated cruel by others. No matter how much I give monetarily to help other people, when I don't have that much to give myself - He constantly allows financial disasters in my life. I stand up against evil - but He always allow evil to win in my life. I used to have great faith - now I have none - and He killed it Himself. Years of unanswered prayers, years of disappointments, years of seeing evil people win all the time in my life, has caused me not to believe like I used too. I believe there is a God but he is not in the blessing business like these preachers preach - just sick of empty promises never fulfilled - I wish I was dead - because when God turns His back on you what is the use of living. Can't figure out why He hates me, but my life is definitely the evidence of His cruel hate. Please save me the "Test" speech - because a "Test" or "Trial & Tribulation" do not suppose to be a life sentence.

Well, being kind to others doesn't mean God controls people and makes them kind back. People have the free will to choose how they act. And, lets face it, nowhere in the bible does it teach that God provides us a good life here on earth. Look at Christ himself, his life was spent healing people physically, mentally, emotionally, casting out demons, preaching love and morality and God. What was his thanks for a life of giving and servitude and miracles? To be beaten, mocked, spit on and put to a brutal death. Look at the Apostles, imprisoned or put to death. Look at the people who suffer and die in the name of their faith, all over the world, even now. God is not in the business of making things how we think they should be. Why? Because to do so would require Him to control other people, to not allow them to be who they are, good or bad. And this is a high priority on Gods list. God wants willing followers, not robots. Sure, He could make people listen, but that's not His desire.
And as far as finances go, being in America, there is still a large portion of the country out of work. Or working in jobs below their education/experience. Each individual looks at God as says 'why can't i get work?'. Because you have to step back and look at the bigger picture, not just your little speck of the world. God isn't going to make jobs appear out of thin air. We're subject to the issues that our leaders create. It's always been this way. And our leaders have left us suffering at a higher rate. The reason you aren't finding a job isn't that God hates you, it's that there aren't jobs out there. Along with the thousands of other Christians who are thinking the same thing you are. How can God provide thousands or millions of jobs for people when those jobs don't exist?
And if you're listening to modern preachers, no wonder your ideas of God are skewed. Especially if you're listening to tv preachers. 98% of those guys do not teach the bible. They teach other doctrines and misusing the bible to make it sound Christianized. We don't give to get. We give to be givers, and sometimes we get back in obvious ways, while other times we get back in ways we can't yet see.
It's not Gods fault you're being treated cruelly. It's the fault of the people mistreating you. You're blaming God for the actions of people. And sometimes, depending on the situation, we allow ourselves to be mistreated.
Yes, sometimes things are a test, but the reality is the world we live in sucks. People are, by nature, not good. The world does not take care of each other. And God isn't going to snap His fingers to change it. All He does offer is someone to lean on, to listen to your hurts, to bring comfort (when we seek it) and maybe, at times, carry us. But He is limited to what He can do by how we act and react.
There is no magic formula, there is no warm fuzzy speech to temporarily make you forget how you feel, then is no hiding behind pseudo-spiritual platitudes. The world sucks. It's that simple. But it's how you choose to respond to it that makes the difference. I know, i struggle with this daily, and sometimes i feel how you do. Some days i just want to give up. But i don't. This is where faith comes in. The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Trusting and believing that, behind all the garbage, there is something more waiting for us.

On a friendly side note, whatever you did to post this was not effective and made it difficult to read. In the future you may want to copy/paste the words themselves, or type out what it is you want to say.

God IS Love. So how can He hate you?!!!!!
Think of it that way: imagine you gave birth to a child. Your child. Can you hate your child whom you've gave birth to? Your child might drive you nuts and make you mad, but you'll never hate your child. this word "hate" is too strong. The bible says in Matthew 7:10-12 if you are being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, then how about your God?? God is the one who created you, then how would He hate you?? The devil is the one that puts these ridicules ideas in your head and makes you believe it. If you read Screwtape letters for C.S. Lewis, you'll see exactly what I mean. God died for us when WE hated Him and spit on Him. Then how come He hates you. Your argument doesn't make sense at all.
