Basically, Gospel means good news.
There are four accounts of the good news by four Apostles of Jesus Christ, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. After this, the good news is expounded upon by Saul called Paul.
Previous to these accounts of the Good News, it is all contained in what is known as the Old Testament, and Messiah is prophesied throughout these writings. If one reads well, one will discover all the Good News is included in the Old Testament with the hope of the advent of Messiah.
Anyone who wishes to read or study the Good news may do so by reading any one of the four accounts, or all. Myself, I like to read the Word from "in the beginning" to the final "amen" of Revelation continuously, simply because it all smacks of Good news to me. Remember that if while reading the good news it sounds bad, you are not understanding the gift of grace, so pray for that understanding, it too is a gift.

Thank you for the link. At present I am studying Hebrew and slowly but surely reading the Word in that language. As for listening to the Word, I do have online audios of It. Since God first assured me that all will be just fine, I have read His Word, and I have adored these many decades of having this wonderful gift. Again, thank you for the link, and I pray you also enjoy many decades of His presence in the Holy Spirit..........amen
