Actually, it WAS NOT Unconstitutional.......it was INTERPRETED as Unconstitutional by a LIBERAL BUNCH OF JURISTS. As well, it is the FIRST TIME in our History that the words of a CANDIDATE were used as a basis for a RULING! This was nothing more than a HIT JOB by a bunch of radical socialist extremist baby killing God hating liberal Jurists.

The Unconstitutional portion of the travel ban was not which countries was chosen because we currently have sanctions and travel restrictions for many foreign countries for multiple reasons. This is the unconstitutional part:

"The court makes extensive use of Trump's comments during his campaign when he called for a full ban on Muslims from entering the United States as evidence against this executive order.

"The evidence in the record, viewed from the standpoint of the reasonable observer, creates a compelling case that (the executive order's) primary purpose is religious," the ruling states. "Then-candidate Trump's campaign statements reveal that on numerous occasions, he expressed anti-Muslim sentiment, as well as his intent, if elected, to ban Muslims from the United States."
The Problem was the travel ban was ambiguous and seemed as though religion was based off the ban not national security which is unconstitutional.

Nice try to put President Obama in it.

President Obama Administration gave the Trump Administration the list of countries but it is up to the Trump Administration on what they were going to do concerning these countries. The Trump Administration wrote the original Travel ban very carelessly and messed up. Even till this day revisions are being made.

According to Tom O’Connor of Newsweek

"Most people in a new survey said the best response to Donald Trump’s actions while president would be to impeach him or otherwise remove him from office.

Harvard University’s Center for American Political Studies and research marketing firm Harris Insights and Analytics this week published the results of their monthly national poll, in which respondents were given three choices for how to deal with the president: 43 percent said he should be impeached or otherwise removed from office, while 42 percent said nothing should be done and 12 percent said he should be censured by Congress.

Trump impeachment most popular solution

Amid multiple investigations into whether Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia, a series of high-level administration dismissals and recent polarizing remarks on the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, talk of removing the president has increased, and some politicians have already begun the process or declared their intentions to do so. Many Trump supporters and critics, however, have warned of dire consequences for the country should such an action occur."

“Try to impeach him. Just try it. You will have a spasm of violence—an insurrection—in this country like you have never seen before.... Both sides are heavily armed, my friend,” Roger Stone, an outspoken onetime Trump consultant who previously worked on campaigns to elect Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, told TMZ Wednesday."

I agree with Roger Stone.
We've impeached two Presidents so far. And in both cases, they went right on being President, so I have no idea what people think "impeach" means or what it changes.

And can it get bad? Of course it can. It seems the vast majority of Americans haven't even studied who the first impeached President was and what happened. It's a good study for what happens when the insane rules the asylum.

Islam is a radical religion. While not all Muslims are terrorists, the Islamic religion calls for violence, jihad and subduing those who do not believe as they do. Right now Christians are being murdered in some of these countries. I never seem to hear about that here on CC.I find that odd.

I bring it up all the time, but everyone thinks I'm an A Hole.

In fact YES! Many of his actions and policies have been reviewed and overturned by many judges due to it being unconstitutional. For example the Travel Ban he had to rewrite.
Actually, no. Not really. What they're doing is getting prejudice judges to go with what they want, instead of going with the Constitution. Read the Constitution and tell me where it says a President can't do travel bans.

(Try researching stories yourself, instead of accepting the propaganda the media is serving on a platter.)

Liberals "outcry" and "raving" is no different from the Republicans "outcry" and "raving" when President Obama was in Office.

The hypocrisy is astounding.

What's the plan? Stick with that low-level criticism or come up with good criticism? "It's all their fault" merely keeps both sides inactive. And, if this is as far as you go, that too is hypocrisy.

I don't know you (other than remembering your grandmother marched with MLK once -- which btw, impresses me), but I don't want you forever stuck thinking repeating the simple chants on the liberal side is enough. (And, granted, the right is less chanty, but has too much of that mindset too.) Not enough to simply get huffy. You've got to think things out too.

Hypocrisy is a two way street. We have had four presidents where the other side shouted "impeach" him, and one of them was actually impeached, but found innocent. It's time to stop the shouting, and start rebuilding our nation.

As long as we continue to oppose any and everything that our president wants to do because we don't like him, we will continue to deteriorate as a nation. I don't care what party that he represents. He is still the president, and he deserves our support and prayers.
Incorrect. Clinton was found guilty of perjury. Congress just decided it wasn't enough to kick him out of office. He was NOT innocent, but that's not what impeaching is about.

I agree to an extent. It is one thing to oppose a President because you simply don't like him and another thing to oppose a President because his policies are not beneficial to the American People.

Congress is a representation of the people who voted for them. However, American Politics have been more like a "game of politics" filled with special interest groups on both sides.
And? What are you saying here?

Seems to me, I can point back the exact same thing at any given point in American history. We even became our own nation because of "special interest groups." So, really, I don't get what you're saying here. Good thing? Bad thing? Something should change? And if it's something should change, why and how?

You keep going for the rhetoric, but you have yet to say anything of what you think. What you believe! (Granted. Happening a lot in this thread, but I count on young people rethinking their ideas than older people. lol)

Has he violated the constitution in any way? Saying mean things aren't grounds for impeachment
No, he has not violated any laws or the constitution either. Hating someone is not sufficient grounds for articles of impeachment.

You just disproved yourself. So, even you admit, those judges weren't worried about the Constitution at all, like they were supposed to be. It was just what they thought from stuff Trump said when campaigning.

I really do agree with you that Trump made a mess out of the travel ban, but did the courts fix the mess? Did they rule from law or from personal values? And should a judge, any judge, rule from personal values? (Warning. Loaded question, because I can cite bozo rulings from the court that affect you personally in a negative way.)

As for Obama giving Trump a list? As it stands now, this country is fairly consistent. We swap parties for the President every single time. Usually we give the same President two terms, (occasionally only one term), and then guaranteed the other party gets the next 4-8 years.

I'm guessing from your rhetoric that you're a Democrat. (Not a put down. I agree with this saying, "If you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you are not a Conservative at 35 you have no brain
," so you're proving you have heart.) So let us assume the next President will be a liberal. (And I think Trump will be a two-termer.) Do you really think the next President should go by Trump's list too, or is this just rhetoric?

the KEY to all of this are the words "Harvard Poll."

"
I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University."
