Heaven on Earth

I think heaven can, and should begin right here and now.

Rather than mark off the days on a calender till our bodies die.

God's word is full of scriptures to back this up.

We have been called to be the light of the world.
No one lights a candle, and then hides it.
It is put up high on a shelf so that it lights the whole room.
We as Christians are meant to let the light of Jesus shine,
so that people will see it, and want some of it.

That is what one of our greatest reasons for being left here on this Earth is to do.

MellowED, you're right. We are called to shine our light upon the world for all to see. Each time we pray for or with someone, our light shines a little brighter. Each time we are generous and kind and helpful to others, our light burns brightly. Every time we let Jesus shine through us, our light get so bright we need sunglasses!! Lol..What we do to or for others, we do to or for Jesus. Every time we offer spiritual advice or guidance, every time we help someone find Jesus, our light shines. When everyone's lights shine together, the entire world will be lit up!!
