Most people base their faith and their religion on a belief, doctrine and scriptures. It is much the same as it was in the days of Elijah. There was much indifference. Even when the man of God prayed and the heavens were shut for 3 years, it did not rain. Yet they did not believe in God. The Christians are as apathetic today. Their faith is based on books, teachings and scriptures but they do not know the God whom they believe in.

By revelation of God, Paul wrote about these people in 2 Timothy 3:5 he said, “holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power. AVOID SUCH MEN AS THESE.”

Paul described these people as well, which describes the Christians of today, who are as part of the world as Satan himself. We read in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; AVOID SUCH MEN AS THESE.”

Paul said: AVOID SUCH MEN AS THESE, if you associate with them you will become just like them.

A separation is taking place between those who serve God with their lips and those who got to know Him through a close relationship. Their faith will be severely tested and the fakes will be exposed.

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.”

Paul also writes about the power in Colossians 1:29 “For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.”
He goes on to write in Ephesians 3:20 “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,”

Our faith will be tested my friend, not by our knowledge of scripture but by the power that works in us. If you do not have the Holy Spirit power, extra oil in your lamp and your lamp burning you will perish.

It is easy to be brave when all is well, when your stomach is full, when you have a lot of money in the bank. When you have a good job, when your family is in good health, when you can run to the bank for credit. But wait until you have no job, you have no food, there is no credit there is no medical aid.

It is easy to prophecy prosperity when the economy is doing well.

When all is well it is easy to believe in anything and to mock the real God. But when you hit the deck and you have nowhere to run, it is a different story all together.

Many are about to discover that they are spiritually bankrupt.

The real God does not hear sinners; He does not listen to them. If you come to Jesus you first repent of your sin, then He will accept you. The Holy Spirit of God does not live in sinners.
The power of God does not work in and through sinners.

God hates sin and He opposes the sinful. God judges the wickedness of man, like He did with Sodom and Gomorrah and He will do it again. If we are in Sodom and Gomorrah we will perish. Paul said: AVOID SUCH MEN AS THESE, you will perish with them.

How much of God’s power works in you and in me?

The power of God worked in Elijah. We read in 1 Kings 18:21-24 “Elijah came near to all the people and said, “How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people did not answer him a word. 22 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the LORD, but Baal’s prophets are 450 men. 23 “Now let them give us two oxen; and let them choose one ox for themselves and cut it up, and place it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other ox and lay it on the wood, and I will not put a fire under it. 24 “Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the LORD, and the God who answers by fire, He is God.” And all the people said, “That is a good idea.”

There are many so-called prophets today who are predicting good times and prosperity. Many predict Jesus is about to scoop up the Christians out of tribulation and then he will judge the unbelievers. We are about to see which power worked in them.

Were they sooth Sayers or men and women of God? Did they tickle the ears of people or did they hear from God?

The time of testing is here. Is your God the one who answers with fire when you pray? How often were you deep in trouble where nobody could help you? Then you called and God and He answered you. Has your faith been tested?
Did you stand the test or can you not even stand the temptation of internet pornography? Like many Christians cannot do.

Nothing that has not been tested and proven is worth anything.

Will your God answer when you call on Him? Will He answer with fire?
The door is closing and if you do not have EXTRA OIL IN YOUR LAMP, there will be NO TIME TO BUY.

Jesus warned in Matthew 25:1-13
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 “Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 “For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6 “But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 “Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 “But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 “And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 “Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.”

The question to you and me is do we have EXTRA OIL IN OUR LAMP. WILL YOUR GOD ANSWER WITH FIRE when you CALL?
HOW REAL IS YOUR GOD TO YOU?

Everyone has Different ways of Praying, I have Learned at church that if we Follow Gods Comands and Obey HIm We will go to Heaven and we are Saved. As Far as I know God wont Answer In Fire but If you Break his Comands and Dont Follow his word you will be Punished,It says that in The Bible. God is Real to me, He has done amazing things in mine and My Husbands Life. Like it says in Matthew 7:7 Ask and It will be given to you;Seek and you will find; Knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:8 says For everyone who asks will recieves; he who seeks finds;and to him who knocks the door will be Opened. I belive every word the Bible say. Jesus Speaks the truth. But we all have our own Belives and opion's.

How real is my God? There are not words great enough to say. Our father has been with me as long as I can remember. When I was three I heard that his love was so brite that it would blind us. So I decided to practice seeing him by stareing at the sun. I wanted to see him so much I figured if I could look at the sun then I would be able to see God. My mom saw me and told me to stop or I would hurt my eyes. When I was five and my dad was beating me, a gentle voice in my ear told me I was not at fault, that I was loved and that my dad was ill. Over the next 5 years it was our Lord Jesus who gave me a kiss goodnight when I was so very sad and alone. In my teens when I wanted to rebel it was Jesus who kept his protective arms around me as I ran away towards him. As the years have passed by I have come to know Jesus, Our Father and his spirit more every day. He is more real to me than the ground I stand on. Sometimes so real I wonder if I am soon to be with him and then it is so hard to know that I must wait yet to see him. Even as I read the words I have written it cannot say just how wonderful our Father in heaven is. All I can do is bare witness to his Love, his truth, his hope, his humor and how great and just he is. All I can say is seek him always, in every way, in all you do. God bless, pickles

Whether we are a believer or a sinner, scripture says that we will all stand before Go in order to give an account for our lives at some point and time. I personally believe that one of the questions we will be asked is not "so how well do know the word of God" but rather "how well did you live out the word of God".

How Real is my God? Besides hangin on a cross and dieing for someone who deserves nothing? Well, I have seen him heal my mother of a brain tumor, he gave me the gift of seeing my sister in law get saved while batteling cancer, and I got to see the peace in knowing she accepted God as her savior. I could set here all day long and never begin to scratch the surface of things I have personally witnessed, that I KNOW was the hand of God showin me and my family un-merrited favour. The fact alone that he would choose to come dwell in my heart, as lowely as I am, for love alone.......takes my breath away. I pray with all i have , one day he can look at me, and say well done.

Did you stand the test or can you not even stand the temptation of internet pornography? Like many Christians cannot do.
He has answered me before I even ask. He has led me away from sowing to the flesh before I could call on Him to do so. He is faithful to me.

Nothing that has not been tested and proven is worth anything.
God will chasten every child He receives as any father would. Those left behind at the rapture event are still His, bought with a price and sealed as His, but as they were not ready, they will be. As there will be vessels of honour and vessels unto dishonour, the prodigal son will know he is still son as the foolish virgins will have oil for their lamps to be witnesses of Him, but too late.

Will your God answer when you call on Him? Will He answer with fire?
The door is closing and if you do not have EXTRA OIL IN YOUR LAMP, there will be NO TIME TO BUY.

The question to you and me is do we have EXTRA OIL IN OUR LAMP. WILL YOUR GOD ANSWER WITH FIRE when you CALL?
HOW REAL IS YOUR GOD TO YOU?
The question is how faithful is our witness? Do we live as the world lives like the prodigal son giving up his interitance for wild living? Do we witness as the foolish virgins do by constantly going to the market to fill the vessel with oil and thus never ready to shine as a witness of Him of what He has done? Or do we stand apart from the world of carnal living and be witnesses of Him that we have been bought with a price, filled to the brim, thus complete, and sealed as His and thus saved?

Matthew 9:17Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Does our faith shine or are some reliving the Day of Pentecost over and over again like leaky vessels and failing to have the oil to be witnesses of what He has done?

HOW REAL IS YOUR GOD TO YOU?
I could not agree with you more!

There is a separation of the wheat and the tears going on!
You are hearing the same thing I am hearing from the Lord!

You are a voice shouting in the wilderness!

Most people do not want to hear, and are to busy to come to the wedding feast.

But the Lord knew they would be busy so he said go to the highways and the by ways and drag them in.

Abraham had two children!
One from the slave wife and one from the free born wife.
One from man attempt to bring about God will, the other from the promise of God.
Two churches, one is mans, one is the one Jesus is building!
One, God will say go away I never knew you!
They will say Lord, Lord didn't we cast out demons and heal the sick in your name and He'll say go away I never knew you.

You will know them by their Love, those that obey God Love their neighbor as themselves.
Those who don't obey, judge their neighbors and hang their neighbors from the cross, making the cross of Christ of no effect!
By the fruit of their own lips they take what was suppose to be free and charge a high price for the salvation they claim is free!
