"I look forward to the day when we shall be striped of the flesh and
shall walk with the Lord in that "glorified body". (1) But until that
happens,there has been tremendous provision made for us to navigate
in this present world. More than 160 times in the New Testament Paul
says that we as believers are "in Christ". If we are in Christ, the
question naturally comes, "where is Jesus Christ?"
"To be in Him means to be a part of Him. We are bone of his bone
and flesh of His flesh, (2) one with Him. And right this moment Jesus
Christ is seated at the magnificent place of authority and power over
all the universe: the right hand of God. (3)
"Exodus 15:6 MLB -- Thy right hand, O Lord, is glorified in power;
Thy right hand, O Lord, shattered the foe.
"Psalm 17:7 MLB -- In a marvelous way show Thine unfailing love,
O Thou, who savest those who look for refuge from their adversaries
at Thy right hand.
"Psalm 20:6 MLB -- Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He
answers him from His holy heaven with the saving might of His right
hand.
"Psalm 48:10 MLB -- In agreement with Thy name, O God, so is Thy
praise to the ends of the earth; Thy right hand is full of Thy
righteousness.
"Psalm 89:13 MLB -- Thine is an arm with might; strong is Thy
hand and high Thy right hand.
"Psalm 118:16 MLB -- The right hand of the Lord is lifted up; the
right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
"Matthew 22:44 MLB -- The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right
hand until I put Thy enemies under Thy feet.
"The book of Hebrews tells us that when His work of redemption was
finished, Jesus took His place at the right hand of His Father. (4) Paul
says we are risen with Him. (5) Sire, someday we shall join Him
there face to face, but God wants us to see that we are present there
with Him right now". [p. 53.].
