To my brothers and sisters in Christ from across the world, I do hope you will take the time to read what I am writing you, as it is vital not only to your encouragement but also to others who are far off and yet to be saved. First off, please let me preface my comments by saying this may sound outlandish to some, especially those rather new to the faith or unfamiliar with spiritual gifts, but I ask you please keep an open mind. I don't know if any of you believe in modern prophecy, but the Bible clearly states the gift of prophecy is still available to born again believers today. Here are a few my friends:

To start, Joel 2:28-29 says, "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." Also, in 1 Corinthians 14, it says "Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy."Also Ephesians 4:11 says, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists..." and 1 Corinthians 12:9-10 says "to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy...". Going further, Revelation 11:3 says, "
And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Why is this important? It is relevant to my post because many months ago I sought a word from a holy prophet anointed by the Lord (Please be advised: There are MANY false prophets out there, and we must test the prophecies and see if anything contradicts Scripture. Bring it to The Lord in prayer, etc) and one of the things she said was that in time the Father's heart would be revealed to me. I had no idea what this meant, but now that it has come to pass, I look back on the prophetic word and it makes sense!! My friends, I had been undergoing significant spiritual attack the last week and fell hard after a constant barrage of assaults, and thought God was finished with me. The enemy had fooled me into believing The Lord had left me and I could never be forgiven. What did I do? I went back to a prophetic thread to seek help and received a word from two women who were not associated with the other prophetic mission I contacted prior, and they said nearly identical things as the other prophet! They reiterated things such as the fact that God is not angry with His children and that He loves His children very, very, very deeply and longs for them. He longs to give good gifts to His children! We see that the earthly fathers give good gifts to their children, so how much more shall our Heavenly Father give if we seek Him in truth and righteousness? God is a God of rich agape love, and His love for His children is everlasting and unconditional! BUT, just because His love for His children is unconditional does not mean he approves of everything, we must be sure of that and follow the Word of God and walk the narrow path, but His yoke is easy and His burden is light! He will neither leave nor forsake us and His love is perfect and pure! Not only that, but I am also now literally feeling the presence and embrace of God as I grow more intimate with Him; it is a deep, penetrating love in the soul and a warm feeling around me, almost like being overwhelmed in His love- it is intoxicating, tender, and secure! I had posted something earlier about God being a taskmaster and a cold tyrant of sorts, and I have realized I was wrong, very wrong!! God is a loving Father who longs for His children and longs for us to keep His commandments and do His will out of love for Him! It is all about love, my friends! God is love!! Be encouraged!! Our God is not a cold punishing God but a loving, tender-hearted Father who desperately wants us; desperately wants to be intimate with us and save us! Let us let others know of the love of the Father so they will repent and accept Jesus Christ with greater ease and before the window of grace is closed! We are blessed to be children of the Most High God, who is love!! Thank you all!! Be encouraged! Emulate the Father's heart :)

At first glance this seems a bit like "Stockholm syndrome" ...

A cold tyrant master turns to a loving father in the mind of the adopted child.

Just my persepective

Not really, you must have missed this part of the OP:

QUOTE: Why is this important? It is relevant to my post because many months ago I sought a word from a holy prophet anointed by the Lord

END QUOTE:

Now, given your rejection of the Great I Am, I can understand why you might reach that conclusion, but.............in this case God isn't the problem............
