Hey everybody, I wasn't sure where to post this. This Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. I didn't know such a thing existed until last year after it had already happened. I was just wondering if your churches recognized it, or if you do anything special.

I'm just curious, and I wanted to bring it to everybody's attention.

No but I noticed the news Iran had a riot wanting Americans dead yesterday.

If anybody wants more information on IDOP here is a website - http://www.idop.org/. There are a lot more out there but I think that may be the "official" one. It is estimated that approx 176,000 Christians were martyred in the last year for their faith. This is such a huge number but I never hear anything about it. I think it is important that we recognize this problem, and pray for those who are suffering.

IHOP means International House Of Prayer to me in Kansas City. Actually I attend a RIHOP Richmond- International House Of Prayer on a regular basis.
