Some time ago with my friends we were talking about the situation in the temple, when Jesus got angry.

He went so mad, so I'm wondering, now when churches take money from these poor people, saying words that differ from those we can read in the Holy Bible, why doesn't He rise up and burn all these temples down? Last summer I went to Italy and visited some churches, or I should rather say: some souvenir shops because the souvenirs are sold inside these buildings... Why? Isn't it the same or similar situation?

Mat 16:19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus gave us (the church) the keys. It is a result of the church's poor stewardship that today's churches are falling away from truth. We held the key we have no one to blame but ourselves.

When you understand that God does not dwell in temples, or church buildings made with human hands, you will began to understand it for what it is. Now if the kingdom of God is within you, then where is also the God of that kingdom as well?

I don't think money was the issue of why Jesus made a whip. Jesus never seemed like He cared too much about money.

I think it was the issue of the sacrifice of the lamb He was concerned with. People were relying on sinful men to give them an unblemished sacrifice. This is what Jesus was upset with. Their sacrifice was to be by their own faith until the Lamb of God came. IF they weren't practicing faith in their sacrifice, how could they exercise faith in the Lamb of God? Especially if the ones giving them the "unblemished" lambs rejected the Lamb of God??
