We can not serve Jesus and the world at the same time. We are either in the light or in the darkness. The light is Jesus and the darkness is the world. We can never have them both at the same time.
Revelation 3:15-16
15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

LIGHT and darkness can not be in the same place at the same time! Where one is the other is not, Praise God!

People were worshiping Baal then going to worship the Lord, Lukewarm

You are so right, Dad, Matthew 6:24 says that, "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other ..." - It works the same way for Jesus and the world when the rest of the verse talks about God and money - Light and darkness is the same principle. Good reminder for us all!
