The WORLD has made pro choice and abortion issue.

I am Pro Choice in every aspect meaning God gave us all a Pro Choice ability to even go against the 10 Commandments if that is what we chose to do.

He asks us to love and if we love Him to choose to obey the outline He gave us. God does not force us to obey Him God gives us a choice and to that end I am also Pro Choice in that I believe everyone has a right to choose to do as they want but I would love it as God would love it if we always chose the way which is the right way falling in line with obedience to the 10 Commandments so when I say I am Pro Choice that is what I mean not the worldly view that abortion is pro choice.

Do you understand my Blond way of thinking? Or have I just muddied up the water?

Nope,I think Im part blond {even tho my hair is dark as can be} I actually understand what you're saying. It has become a catch phrase, just like "significant other" has. Some words use to be good words are now dirty words to say.The world is certainly a mess.

Well first I appreciate the word "elucidate". Ive been told I use too many big words that people don't understand, imagine that! Im relatively new to the US,I wasn't born here,I've spent about 16yrs. here. So Im speaking from my experience.

The first point I'd disagree with is that liberals want to help people and Republicans do not. Progressive liberals want socialism and as Margret Thatcher said " The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money". Or Churchill who said "There are two places only where socialism will work; in heaven where it is not needed, and in hell where they already have it."Its quite easy to be generous with someone else's money. I personally don't agree with cradle to grave care.I believe in small government and I believe the facts show this to be the best form of government. I believe that we have too many entitlements that are being abused.I believe there are people who do need care, the elderly, the debilitated, vets. But far too many people in this country are depending on the gov't and the middle class are footing the bill.

Secondly I do not think that liberals and conservative hate each other, yet. I believe that the fringe groups in both parties are pushing us to what may come down to a civil war. Sooner or later the insane are going to run the asylum if the majority of both parties, who are middle of the road, don't stand up and put a stop to the nonsense. So far,I don't see that happening.

The problem, one of several, with American politics is that it has gotten so ugly, down in the dirt street fighting that no one with a modicum of sense would ever want to run for office, let alone put their wife and children through it. So now who do we have to run? Not many are stepping forward, just the same old guard. That's how I see the situation, though I'm sure others disagree.Unless the middle of both parties come together and commiserate, I see the country growing further and further apart. And it's disheartening.

I saw that on the news.I wasn't able to quite hear what happened. They said there was a hospital nearby but help wasn't called for until it was too late. So I'm not sure what that happened.Perhaps they don't know all the facts yet. Very sad.

It is clear to me, we all have a choice and that is to live for God or live for ourselves.

I CERTAINLY don't hate you, or any other person for that matter. From what I have seen from you over the years is nothing but love for everybody. I consider you my sister in Christ.

Having said that, I'm truly baffled by your statement that you are pro choice because people should have the LEGAL means to disobey God, even when it comes to murder. I know you didn't use the word legal, but that's what it comes down to when you say you are pro-choice, and vote for those that promote abortion.

Either abortion is the taking of an innocent human life or it isn't. So either an unborn baby is a human being, in which case abortion is premeditated murder, or it isn't and it's just a mass of cells, in which case we should never feel bad about eliminating. I don't see how it's possible to believe it is a baby, yet still support murdering it?

And when we get into the debate about the reasons WHY it would be ok to kill a baby, if that's what you think it is, then we start playing God.

I have spoken with those over the years, my sister is one, who say THEY would never have an abortion because they believe it is a human, but don't want to impose their belief on others. I simply am unable to comprehend this idea. Murder is wrong for them, but they don't want to tell others murder is wrong and should be illegal.

But to reiterate, I have ZERO animosity toward you, or others for believing this.
Actually, what was meant was that you have the choice to do what is right in the Lord or to do evil. Life is a series of choices. You wrote an understand post without condemnation and that is very much appreciated.

I'm all for peace and unity, not division
There are some compromises not worth it for "love and unity". To love others is to stand for the Truth so that they may believe & be saved. If we set our beliefs and faith aside, then all we are doing is putting their minds at ease as if Who we believe in is not really that important to them; just to us, and yet God will judge every one whether they believe in Him or not.

You may be for peace and unity as far as society needs to be to get along in a society in respecting one another as doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, but if it ever comes to denying Him in public just so an atheist will feel better or not to offend Muslims or Jews, then that is one unity that is not really based on peace at all, but a silence enforced by hatred.

Matthew 10:[SUP]33 [/SUP]But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. [SUP]34 [/SUP]Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. [SUP]35 [/SUP]For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [SUP]36 [/SUP]And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. [SUP]37 [/SUP]He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. [SUP]38 [/SUP]And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. [SUP]39 [/SUP]He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. [SUP]40 [/SUP]He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. [SUP]41 [/SUP]He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. [SUP]42 [/SUP]And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

It is one thing when someone does not want to hear it, but it is another when those who do not want to hear it and yet they force you into silence while they continue to use their freedom to voice their views and even force their beliefs on others.

Like it or not, Christians are to be persecuted by the world for standing up for the Truth so that others may believe & be saved.

John 16:[SUP]33 [/SUP]These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We know Who to go to for help to know when to speak for Him to those that seek Him and not to speak to those who do not care to hear Him at all.

Matthew 7:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. [SUP]7 [/SUP]Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: [SUP]8 [/SUP]For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 Peter 3:[SUP]15 [/SUP]But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

The way I see it the political parties need each other so that we don't go too far one way or the other a kind of checks and balance system. But in the last few elections there has certainly been division and hate that is getting louder and louder and I really don't want to be a part of that at all.

When my niece Julie just visited a couple of weeks ago I was telling her we have to be the change we want to see so love and care for those in your corner. I have started to hold my tongue and try to keep out of the really political threads as I believe they just continue to promote hate, I really don't want to hate and I do pray for our President as he needs our prayers because the country is so divided.

I try to be kind to those around me and brighten my corner where I am to be the change I'd like to see in the country and I will continue to do that. No matter what political party anyone is associated with when it is all boiled down we are ALL Americans.

(Re: Liberals): To be permissive is not to be enlightened. Only things that are rendered thru the Holy Spirit in our lives are truth rendered into reality and enlightenment. We need not work together with those outside of Christ; rather, we are to love all people above ourselves in Christ. This is the enlightenment.

This is the sacrificial life of Christ in us doing the will of the Father over our own will; yet His will will become our will as we mature. I owe liberals no apologies, I owe them Christ. For Christ rules all things and is in all things, and I am apart of His reality (which is simply reality), for there is no truth which is reality without Him in it, worked out thru the Holy Spirit, and not thru our discretion, or our wisdom, or our sensibilities, or our calculations. Reality is always from beyond ourselves given in grace to us. The Church needs to work together (for sure), for this is what God wills, to work together in lifting Christ up so He can do His work in liberals lives and in lives likened to them.

Good luck with that. It's a noble gesture but useless.
No, it's more than just a noble gesture-- it's God's commandment: "Love your enemies." There are things I support in the Liberal platform-- so does the LORD Who created the earth-- sustainable environment policies that do not endanger the planet, such as deep-sea drilling, fracking oil drilling, interference with the development of eco-friendly policies...etc...

If we depart from these, it must be temporarily. We as people are not her to destroy this planet!!
Comprendo?

Healthcare, not bashing people who are different, trying to find a way to honor life from conception to natural death-- bi-partisan justice reform that is not designed to destroy the lives of minor offenders and first time offenders-- justice with compassion--etc...these are things liberals and conservatives cdan work togetherh on

I'm a liberal and I'd venture a guess that most of the ones posting here don't hate me. I don't wear a mask, I don't believe the same way a lot of liberals believe but I don't believe a lot of what the conservatives hold to either.

I don't care to be called a snowflake because I'm a Blond and feel I'm flaky enough already. I am not looking for an apology but I also don't want my patriotism to be questioned as I love my country. I want us to love each other, take care of those who are unable to take care of themselves and keep social security strong as I'm getting old now and will need it in a few years.

Even though I don't believe in a lot of life style choices I do believe people have a right to have and make a choice. God allows us to make a choice so I'm pro choice. God does not force us to obey Him He asks us to choose to obey Him.

So I'm hoping that I am at least one liberal that some of you have learned to tolerate as I don't feel that I'm that horrible of a human that some of the political threads have made liberals out to be. So there you have my 2 cents and it comes from a liberal.

Wow., you don't sound like a liberal. (all joking aside)
I'm a conservative and don't hate liberals and don't think anyone here hates liberals. What I and I think many here can't stand is what far left "liberalism" is doing to America. The ideology of what liberalism stands for today in our country is repulsive., and what some people do is repulsive.

But hating people is wrong on any level and most if not all here would agree with that. That's my 2cents.

in order to feel associated with SOME kind of group??? - because???

Christian is more than 'good enough/group', mantle for some of us...

Very nicely said--
God wants us to choose His ways and life willingly and freely--
but, as a conservative, we have to caution that people, without God's guidance, will normally follow the path of least resistance, or entropy--

it's pretty scary at the end of un-checked entropy-- case in point: Sodom and Gommorrah and the surrounding cities.
at the same time, I support some liberal views such as preserving the environment, justice and prison reform, affordable medical care....and not free reign to bash those with different opinions...
