Right Wing Conservative persecution of Gays in Nazi Germany.

I see a lot of people calling themselves Christian cheering on organised persecution of Gays. It's all been done before. Your spiritual forefathers, the Nazi party of Germany were quite proficient.

I find it despicable, and I don't think Christ calls us to target and persecute one group of sinners. Jesus said he who is without sin, cast the first stone. He said he required mercy, not sacrifice.

I will always oppose fascists, Nazis and corrupt evil social conservatives who seek to target the week.

Upon the rise of Adolf Hitler, gay men and, to a lesser extent, lesbians, were two of the numerous groups targeted by the Nazi Party and were ultimately among Holocaust victims. Beginning in 1933, gay organizations were banned, scholarly books about homosexuality, and sexuality in general, were burned, and homosexuals within the Nazi Party itself were murdered. The Gestapo compiled lists of homosexuals, who were compelled to sexually conform to the "German norm."

We can play a game. Name the political alignment with the most similarities to the Nazis. I'll give you a few choices to start.

Nazis
1. Killed millions of Jews and Gypsies.
2. Were nationalist socialists.
3. Secularized the nation.
4. Were for gun control.

Unnamed Party Alignment
1. Supports the killing of millions of human beings in the form of abortion, even recently cremating the corpses.
2. Are socialists.
3. Are for secularization of the state.
4. Are for gun control.

David, most sins are recognized as wrongful behavior. The issue of homosexual sin is that society has not only changed it to be accepted as good and natural but it is encouraged. I agree that nobody should be happy about individuals being persecuted. However when I see God's laws being reinforced in communities so it can seen as wrong and discourage those who are tempted I rejoice. Let's reapply it to something else. If people were happy about stronger drinking and driving laws would you defend alcoholics against persecution? I feel bad that homosexuals have that particular cross to bare. I feel worse that most homosexuals will suffer eternally because they believe a lie that it is good and there is no need to repent.
