Immature and wicked.
You are aiding Chrislam.
You really need to concentrate.
You seem to confuse easily.
Unnecessary.
So quick to go personal.
Sign of a lofty spirit.
Christs Spirit does not act this way.

Your explanation means little to me. I listen to Christ.
Don't be proud.
Lofty reply, but still wrong.
Self interpretation is your error.
That will open your eyes a little more.

I think it would be a good idea to ignore whoever is teaching you and pick up the bible with prayer and fasting.
Oh, and changing your ways is a major prerequisite.
You say you have chosen Christ...BUT...
Does this sound familiar: Many are called, but FEW are chosen.
His Spirit does not dwell with prideful haughtiness and presumptions of salvation.
Study without change is barren.
don't know about anyone else here but this
person above me needs to practice what he
teaches.

Amen. I'll never understand how a large portion of the church over the centuries have turned their backs on sound biblical teaching that, once saved we are new creatures in Christ, set free from the yolk of sin and bondage in order to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit into Christ-likeness. For the true believer, we are saved from sin NOT saved to sin.

Personally, I can't thank God enough for His grace. However, if divine grace does not change the lives those who claim to partake of it, then the grace they are partaking of is not divine at all.
Well said brother, praise God for these words of wisdom!

Grace does not teach we are free to sin. It teaches that without Christ, no one could be saved. because we can never ever as long as we live be good enough to deserve salvation. nor could we ever make up for the sin we have already committed.

The penalty of sin is death. It is not going to church, obeying the law. Doing religious ceremonies or works. etc etc. We can do all these things a million times, and will still be dead in our sin, because those things can not make up for our sin debt. Only death Can.

This is the gospel. he who knew no sin, was made sin for us that we MIGHT be made the righteousness of God in him.

Legalism teaches Christ's death is not enough. We must help God by stopping sin, Doing religious ceremonies or whatever one thinks needs to be done to "earn" ones salvation. Yet grace teaches we can never earn it.

Licentiousness teaches grace is a license to sin. This is false also. and comes from a lack of repentance. and is gaining strength in todays society.

Grace does not stop us from sin, It stops us from being judged because of our sin. Once we have received Grace, God teaches us to stop sin, as we are chastened by the HS and learn Gods ways. We can not do this on our own. It would be, and is, foolish to think you can ever stop sin. Grace teaches when we do mess up (and we will) God loves us and forgives us, based on Christ's death, not on our works.

if your trying to work to earn your salvation. Your work will be for nought. because the only sacrifice god accepts is Christ's death.

This is very well put, thanks EG :) all we can do is what we were put here for; And that IS to Witness to those that don't Know, That the way to Get Over Death (GOD) Now is written in Moses & The Prophet's and Confirmed in and through Christ and The Apostle's.

You either Beleive in The Ressurection & Ascenstion or You Don't.

But NEVER Forget why He gave His Life; So that WE being the sinners that WE ALL ARE, So we can enter in past the veil, and speak to The Father of Life Himself, and bet HIM KNOW, that YES FATHER; I CARE!

These are The Prayers that are Bottled in Heaven :)

Forever in Christ :)

Matthew 22:14 >For many are called, but few are chosen.

How many millions of people sincerely believe they are saved Christians?
Conditioned by the herd mentality..
How many praise Christs Name, yet refuse to change?
So so many Christians are so so proud.
As soon as a disagreement of doctrine arises, insults flow, and all who dare question are banished from their hearts with no forgiveness nor forgetting.
This is the indicator of the manner of spirit within.

"And you shall know them by their fruits"

This statement of Matthew (Many are called...FEW are chosen) severely clashes with the old saved by grace doctrine fired from the hips so often.
America seems to breed millions of these types 24-7...unfortunately it has also spread like cancer to England and Canada and Australia and beyond...
Thanks a lot television...Thanks a lot America !!

You don't realize how many people from other nations shake their heads sadly at Americas never ending Christian doctrines of confusion, which sadly is spreading to every nations new generations and luke warmers who adopt it so eagerly, through unfortunate exposure.
Saved by grace used as a cloak to excuse all manner of behavior.
Saved by grace misunderstood and abused, becoming a grave to those shouting it out on the rooftops.
Lollipop Christianity.

Works are the result of grace.
But Lord forbid this is mentioned to the shouters.
Accusations of following the old law are levelled against any who actually understand this.
Lets just remove it out of the bible and continue shouting we are saved by grace no matter what we do like pre-programmed little robots.

You may say, who is this nasty Raistlin character?
How proud of him, how hypocritical.
But when someone is stone drunk, you really need to shake them hard to wake em up...
But i am not able to wake the drunk ones, but hopefully prick the logic of the new ones in Christ..
Before YOU get to them and condition them.

But you'll never see the good intentions behind this post...
It'll be easier to banish me from your hearts rather than to CHANGE.
Odd, i guess it's politically incorrect to ask someone to CHANGE for Christ?
I guess its called judging also?
I guess CHANGING for Christ is considered over the top?
That's 21st century mainstream Christianity for ya !!
Christ weeps daily.
Christ, the divine Son of God the Father.

I see you condemn Americans in your post... Just like Pharisees condemned Samaritans. Maybe you should check your own fruit in the mirror. The last time I checked Romans 3:23 still said "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God". God bless you & I will pray for you. Know that if you have works, even those works are by the grace of God, or have you forgotten Ephesians 2:8 & 9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." :)

Christ weeps daily.
Christ, the divine Son of God the Father.

I've changed. I had to give up my one night stands, my daily pot ritual, my swearing, my cursing, my vain imaginations, my arrogance, my horiscopes, and telling people to go to hell. Was getting too old for all that anyway. So I would hate to think that it was all for nothing, cause I really enjoyed all those things. Especially my pot. Made me feel spiritual, but realised I couldn't afford it anymore and it was making me dumber. I really want to give up my job too and live on the dole. That way I can read more.

Anyway. Just wanted to share that with you. I feel good now that I'm not drinking as well. But I wont give up my cigarettes, never. That's not a sin. It's my time out. People kill emselves with food. You know all that sugar and bad fat causing high blood pressure & diabetes, and not to forget all those dangerous cancer causing chemicals. They give that stuff to kids and babies and old people too. They are just hypocrites. I hope you don't think i'm teasing. I agree with what you say. You gotta just do it for Christ, bite the bullet, leave that old life behind. Start a new life. live clean. I'm not sure if this thing will go through, I don't know how to use it properly. If it does I'll be really embarrassed.

I see you condemn Americans in your post... Just like Pharisees condemned Samaritans. Maybe you should check your own fruit in the mirror.

Do you truly follow Christ?
Then you are not American.
You are a spiritual Jew.
Go to another country and see the infiltration of the many contradictory American born doctrines sprouting up.
It is shameful.
Are they truly Christian?
They seem too money orientated for that.

This has nothing to do with personal attacks.
Why go personal?
I am attacking the many doctrines that all contradict with each other coming out of America.
Why ask about my walk?
It is not about you, it is not about me, it is about America spreading confusion.
And guess what?
My country is wicked too...so is England...Canada...China etc etc etc etc.
But it is America which is spreading all these strange religions.
Listen to the message please.

We are spiritual Jews....drop the nationalism.

Well done sister...i hear you.

I really want to give up my job too and live on the dole. That way I can read more.
I did that for 3 years..dole for one year...by the grace of God for the other two...but i learnt so so much...night and day...every book of the bible inside out...you get an amazing grasp of the whole picture when sacrificing your wants and concentrating on the Lord.....But i must say, try to keep working..part time at least...you will eat better :)

while all the above is true, one thing to keep in mind is we need grace more than one time, because we all still sin after we accept Christ.mistakes are sin. lots of people do not want to see that a thought can be a sin ( if you hate your brother, etc.) .so we need grace throughout our lives.
Agreed, as long as we truly are sorry for our mistakes and work as hard as we can to overcome each flaw one by one by Gods grace, and keep growing with an honest approach to our Lord bearing fruit worthy of acceptance...

Thank you gb9.

Ha Ha very funny. Love to have sum guy support me then I won"t have to go on the dole! But no thanks. I didn't join the christian dating site did I? Gee I better go back and check. Just want to talk about all the stuff in the good book. My neighbour is an old man, and has gone blind. I help him with his shopping, and make sure he's ok. He's very old, and you know, blind, hard for him. He always gets me to read stuff from the bible to him. His daughter told him about this site, and he's hooked. Now he want's me to read all the posts to him. He rings me up, "when are you coming over" It's so funny. It's like a reality show for him, only you can't see their faces. He gets so angry and worked up. I tell him settle down old man, people only let you see what they want you see, but true colours come out in the end. Anyway he likes you. And I've been doing this for months now for him, and I actually, hate to admit but enjoy it. He gets me to look up things in the bible and checks things out. He's real smart. Knows where to tell me to find it but scares me half to death when he yells out from the top of his lungs "error" or "hypocrite" I nearly fall off my chair. But now I'm really curious, and I have lots and lots of questions so I joined up and here I am wolla. I pray everyday now and my thinking is different. something has changed in me and it feels good. I always believed, but loved a good party. Now when I read from the good book to him I go crap, God's talking about me, better get my act together. I get so scared sometimes I just cry and say Sorry God, Sorry God. I've been a bad. Make me good. I wanna you to be proud of me. I wanna change for you. Change everything wrong I ever did.

Keep chatting to me, cause I got no friends here. I'm new. I dont know how to use this thing properly either. I have lots of questions. And I wanna see if the old man is right about stuff.

One man esteems one day above another, another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

do you believe in works salvation?
NO.
Not one bit.
Never have.

I believe works are the result of the Spirit given from Christ.
So the works are the natural change that comes when obeying Christ.
If we don't change, then those works stay what they were before we were changed by that Spirit and we are still dirty and in our sins.

It is that Spirit that is changing us.
So all the glory still goes to God.
Not us.
But through us, that Spirit works the works.

If one is a selfish person, his works will be self centered.
If one is nasty, his works will be nasty.
If one follows Christ, his works become Christ like and acceptable.
It all comes from Christ.
NOT of ourselves.
That was the Jews downfall.

Grace and works go hand in hand.
All from Christ and for Christ.
Not of our own doing.

if your trying to work to earn your salvation. Your work will be for nought. because the only sacrifice god accepts is Christ's death.

All the good works in the world can never be enough to pay ones way to salvation.
Only Christs grace can save us.
But works are the result of that growing indwelling Spirit He gives us.
So who is really doing the works?
It is that Spirit within us doing those works.
So Christ is the one causing these good works.

But lets not be blind to the fact that we work also...one has to agree with that Spirit to keep that Spirit, one has to agree with those works to continue in those works.
Don't get me wrong, our works are the result of that Spirit.
I am not saying praise ourselves, just acknowledging that we still must play our part in our small way.
Christ does say, Well done, faithful servant...you were faithful in a few things etc here is your reward....
So we DO have a very small part in those works also.
But in the end, it is all Christs doing regardless.
So boasting is cancelled out.
Wouldn't want it any other way.

Thank you EG.

Consumed.... God bless you. Jesus only condemned the condemners. He gave grace to the humble. I suggest the brother read & pray earnestly about what Jesus said in Matthew 7:1-5 which states 1“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Again... let the word of God speak & do not make statements that condemn. Those are of the flesh. God bless you :)
