Hi all!

I was just curious about this. How do you determine whether or not you're going to "like" a post?

For me, I will like a post even if I don't agree with the premise, but yet think it's a good argument. I have liked posts defending both OEC and YEC. I can see the points on both sides.

I will like a post that I think is encouraging or has good advice.

Have any of you ever gone back and "unlike" a post, because the user posted something else a little later that you didn't agree with? What is justification for unliking a post?

Have a great day!

people are human,so if they don't like my/somones post maybe they are trying to help/protect someone that may be innocent, i'm not trying to put myself or anyone else down, just IMO.

Likes are for individual posts. If someone says something i like in one post and something completely stupid in another post, that doesn't have anything to do with the good post. That's why they also have the ability to give rep. Likes are aimed at a post, rep is aimed at the person.

Jamie, how I determine whether I like a post or not, is whether it gives good advice or not, and whether it makes sense to what the original question is about. If I feel it is helpful and answers the question, or at least helps explain something better, then I like that post. I have never unliked a post, though sometimes I do wish they had an "dislike" button also!! :) I also give likes based on who has liked MY posts. Alot of the people whose posts I have liked, have also liked posts of mine. I do NOT give likes to foolish or sarcastic comments in posts, but I do if someone says something appropriately amusing. :)

I like a post if I find it thought-provoking, funny, interesting or just agree with the content. I've liked some posts in the past that I didn't fully agree with, although not any that are anti-Christian in nature. I sometimes

I have never unliked anything.
the way I choose to like posts is if they move me then I like them.
