i thought maybe if we put all of the denouncing, accusing, backbiting, rivalry, conceit and strife in one thread here then other parts of the forum might see less of it.

so go ahead, all the planks, splinters, logs, dowel rods and toothpicks, whatever you got,
have at it

:)

Uhhhhhhhhhhh? I think this a really bad idea, I think I understand what you were trying to do though. I think you should try again but with a different approach.

Although I don't always succeed or follow even my own rules, I really try hard to not post in a negative light but here goes:

It really bugs me when I see Christians protesting or carrying signs and it really bugs when business's make it known thru advertising that they are "Christian".....whether it be thru signage or whatever. I'm not sure why so if anyone feels like they could shed light on that apparent hangup in my thinking....have at it. (duck)

What makes me sad is when christians think they are more christian than another Christian......really people.......
This is not a contest...we as christians learn from each other.....we can even learn from baby christians...
We are just at differnt walks ....none better than the rest.....
This made sense in my head.... but you asked for it....

Send all hate mail to posthuman he made me do it.....lol. no shame in my game...

What really bugs me are "Christians" who ignore what Christ said about calling other people names.

Mat_5:22 But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Fool!' will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, 'You moron!' will be subject to hellfire.

When I was young there was a place called the "wood shed."
This reminds me of being taken out to the 'wood shed.' The
paddle was best way to help one to learn right from wrong.
Provided of course the one doing the paddling was right and
the one who is paddled was in the wrong.

So that being said, we are now talking about a place where
we take the plank out of our brothers eye and start a wood
pile. The planks really must be large to burn. However it
takes a splinter to start the fire going. Then we will just take
all our logs and splinters and throw them on the fire.

Come away now, seeing things more clearly due to having pulled
all the logs and splinters out of the eye.

Is it getting hot in here ? Or is it just me ? ~J~K~2

It seems to me its more accepted to bash the church and call out false teachers etc than to speak good of the church, this should not be so. Sure the church has issues but what are you gonna do about it on a global scale?...SHUT UP AND BE THE EXAMPLE YOU WANT TO SEE!

Thanks Post ive been wanting to say that for a while :D lol

I won't eat broccoli if it's stopped steaming. Can't stand it when it's cold.

Okay, this is great. No one argued or called another a name. Did not
take it long to clear out this thread. Or did I mess it up ? I mean if
we are talking wood pile... logs, splinters, I think they should be burned
up. When the smoke clears.. look !!! we can see clearly now.

Question ? Do you think there should be a law passed, we must pay to
purchase a license to be a log or splinter inspector. Oh, there is a
law isn't there ? God's LAW. May the Lord help each and everyone
of us be more and more like Christ everyday of our life ~ Amen ~
