If it makes everyone feel better to lable me, then go ahead,
But as I have said before I am not now or every have been a Universalist.
Just because I believe in The Salvation of All does not mean that I don't
believe in Hell, I have stated many times on here that Hell is very real.
I've even pulled scripture on the subject, but because my understanding of
Hell differs from yours, doesn't mean I don't believe in it. And for this you ridicule
me, and call me names?
David stated he was in hell, and God delivered him, Jonah declared he was in
hell and was also delievered out, but does anyone see the purpose that hell
serves, no, I've tried to dicuss it, but most would rather see eternal torment,
why,? I do not know.
David was a King and was chose to rule, Jonah was to called to preach repentance
to a whole nation, in both their lives hell served a Good pupose in God, why can't
ya'll see this. Not to mention the very fact that Christ Himself was the embodiment
of Both, King, and Preacher of the Good News. But again are you willing to discuss this
or even consider it No again No, you would much rather stick to your man made teachings.
Those that live Godly will suffer persecution, tribulation, reproach, etc.....
But I do have a question, If hell is something we should be afraid of and is
so important to us (After the Cross) then why doesn't Paul write about it ?
Paul wrote most of the NT writings that we have today, if it is that important
why didn't he warn people of it? After all he is the Apostle to the Gentiles.
But he never even mentions it one time, doesn't anyone else find that strange?
And statements like these to me is uncalled for:
(quoted by Ananda)
no you misrepresent her. And so do you.
She doesn't believe He was joking but He didn't really mean "fear" but "reverance" or highly respect or something like that. we don't really need to be afraid because she doesn't believe anyone goes to hell, everyone gets a free pass to Heaven.
I have never said that, that is what you hear.
I said I used to fear God, but that was before I come to KNOW HIM,
Now I reverance Him, He is my Father, I love Him.
(quoted by trust_in_the_name)
Hardly convincing... The Holy Spirit told her that Jesus was just joking around when he said that.
Again I never said that either, why do ya'll have to resort to such a degrating
nature, just because you don't agree with someone?
Are you children or Adults?
That's how kids act, they resort to name calling.
This is not a game were playing.
And I wonder if we were face to face, would you be so
liberal with you words to me? Or is it just because were on a
chat board?
