Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said to me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Your confusion would wane if you rightly understood that these words pertained to the OT prophet Jeremiah ... and not one of the thousands of self-proclaimed modern day "prophets" like yourself. But carry on and make it all about you. There's always a fish or two willing to bite :)

Lol, you imagine things about me. I am more simple than you think.

With exception to KennethC whom I have agreed and disagreed with many times and had many a good debate and discussion with, I can only recall talking once to convallaria directly, today in fact. As for Russell I have read some of what he has said, but I am not sure if I have even written to him directly yet, and I have found one point where he be wrong, but that be a subject I am nigh weary of going over. Lol in fact I have spake to and read your writings more than those three, maybe combined.

If it be that you are of the mind to not break fellowship with those that do not believe God still has power today, then why therefore would you break fellowship with those that do?

Do you do well to be angry with convallaria?

Also indeed, I do not think you are guileful. If you being gullible as you have said then for sooth, that is why I say let those dead men be dead and let the Bible writers be living.
Nah. You're just reading in your own bias here. I was telling you why I will not fellowship with Conv, and yet somehow, to you that became how you relate to her. Honestly? Never paid attention to how you relate to her. And then somehow all I said to you became, "I won't break fellowship with those that do not believe God has power today."

It's like I'm talking about raspberries, you're talking about a landing on Mars, and you think we're even close to speaking the same subject. That's the riddle I don't get. And since this will go on and on, you always out thinking me and having me say things that aren't even in the same universe I'm speaking of, this is pointless.

1. You're not Jeremiah.
2. You're not appointed for squat.
3. We're not Israel.
4. God already proved his point. Building a nation of his own STILL doesn't bring people to him. (A long line of points he made in the OT to prove the only way to him is through Christ on that cross.)

Your response merely verified what I said.

But to break fellowship over prove-a-points? THAT is the exact opposite of the point of prophets. Prophets build. They don't destroy.
You really are the exact opposite of a prophet. If you'd get over your Delusion of Grandeur, you might be useful to God some day.

And yet you are happy to destroy fellowship just to prove your point.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

1 Cor 10 : 21
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

James 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? (12) Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Lol, it is you who said I relate to lady Convallaria, and sir Russell, and sir Kenneth. I was merely telling you how I actually relate to them indeed in my own bias. Also to how I relate to you also.. Do I not also maintain my fellowship with you because I like you lady lynn? But I also do like them. Why shouldn't I like you all?

You also said one should not break fellowship with someone even if they do not currently believe the miracles God does today. I agree with that I don't think that's a good enough reason to break with someone, for indeed Bible says love your neighbor, even to love your enemies, but I have a question. If one should not break fellowship with those that do not believe in the power, then why therefore break fellowship with those that do believe? Tis no riddle.

As for landing on Mars, I am fairly confident that is fake, the evidence seems to point that way. Perhaps a better subject for another forum. Raspberries are good though indeed! Don't get too worked up lady lynn, be of good comfort. Like I said I am much more simple than you might imagine. As for others, that I cannot say except for how I relate to them and how they have spake to or treated me.

Hey there.

I have heard these kinds of things like not breaking fellowship said by those who want to control people, and make them do what they say, so that people don't break fellowship with THEM. Another thing controllers use is the verse which says "touch not mine anointed", again, to give them carte blanche to do as they wish without repercussions, to those they see as lesser individuals.

But there are other scriptures such as this...

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away
.

So I am confident that God wants me to actually break fellowship with those who are religious but deny the power of God while claiming to be Christian. This would be for our own good, obviously, and then quite how that manifests the Lord brings to our notice, with said instruction.

And those that claim to be anointed... just aren't... if they are needing to resort to control tactics to get people to fall in line with them because God never violates our free will.
Also Jesus told us specifically not to lord it over each other, which I don't do...I share what the Lord lays on my heart and then the rebellious will get visibly annoyed and falsely accuse and do all manner of things rather than receive what God sent them in His identification of the (sometimes uncomfortable) truth.

Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

If the SON sets you free, then ye are free indeed.

No liberty without truth ya see, that's why God has some people speak it out, because if it is received, it delivers from bondages.

The fact that some will not accept the truth told them is not my problem really, if I have been obedient in delivering the message. I have been doing this work for some years and I guess we all learn as we go...as follows....

Hebrews 5: 12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Thank you for your helpful words :)

How is that Mars landing?
Cessationist? Meh. So they don't call God's gifts "God's gifts." The ones I know, even the ones I've recently met on this site, are still following God through his gifts, so if they don't want to call them gifts, okey dokey. It doesn't break fellowship any more than the 20,000 versions of End Time theologies do.

It only becomes a problem if that belief becomes their god. The only ones I see who have beliefs that become their gods are Russel, Kenneth, Convalleria and you -- at least on this thread. (Some question marks on others, but that just means IDK, not that they are or aren't.) But to break fellowship over prove-a-points? THAT is the exact opposite of the point of prophets. Prophets build. They don't destroy.

You do think highly of yourself and your telepathy. It really is paranoia when no one is talking behind your back but you are sure "they" are. (And, if they are, how in the world would you know?) And if you think trying this hard to pursue others to your untrue belief is a problem, stop doing it. Counseling would help.

How is that Mars landing?
Just as I have said lol.

The quote of yourself indeed my reference showing indeed being my reference for that which you have quoted to me. So you can see now the heart of my questions thereof. As I have said all ready I agree with you I do not find it a reason to totally break with someone if for the current time they do not believe or know of the power. I suppose I have not said yet, but say now my reason being peradventure they could believe in time to come.

So that is the crux of my main question to you. If as you say we should build up; then why therefore should I be pitted either against convallaria, or why should I be pitted against you? Do I and you and convallaria do well to be broken and divided against each other over what essentially all three of us agree upon? I do not think so, but rather that if we be either wise or if we be but ignorant children it best to start off loving God and neighbor, even loving your enemy as Jesus said.

I have seen some would spoil your reputation. Yet do they really do so? Can it even be done? For what is your reputation with me? Have I not said I like you as much as like lady lynn? If I do not spoil your reputation, how then therefore is it spoiled? You seem to me a woman just as lady lynn. Fragile flowers do not be bruised by what mere mortals think of your petals!

As for breaking fellowship, I get your points, and to a degree I'd agree if the disbeliever be maliceful. However some that disbelieve as is mentioned do not do so for malice, but either ignorance, or they do believe just in a different manner so to speak. Jesus said "those not against us are for us". Furthermore the one time before that I have talked to you as I referred to in response to lady lynn; was this not in regards to Naaman the Syrian, and Elisha the prophet, and Gehazi his servant?

Consider this, when Naaman came from Syria and the prophet told Naaman to dip himself in the Jordan, is it not written that Naaman the Syria was wrathful at this answer and did not believe, wanting to be dipped n the rivers of Syria? Did the prophet Elisha break fellowship with Naaman for not believing his word at first hearing it? Nay but Naaman then did turn on the advice of another his servant and went and was healed thereof. Was Naaman not loved by Jesus enough to both be healed and referred to by word in the New Testament?

Thank you for seeing what is happening.

I read again the story of Naaman and his leprosy and it was good to remind myself of it. I love the fact that Elisha the prophet refused the gifts from him after he was cleansed. Naaman was prideful at first and thought it a bit lowly to wash in the River to be clean...so the Gospel is in there already: when we are too haughty to come to Jesus directly in a humble manner we need not think we will receive His cleansing.

But thankfully Naaman found some obedience and complied. After all it was the instruction of God through the prophet. Interesting to note here that Elisha boldly stated that they will know there is a PROPHET in Israel....he didn't hide behind the sofa until someone found him by accident! He knew who He was and was not ashamed....and so it is with us.

Later in the same scripture we see Gehazi thinking he might exploit an opportunity and extract remuneration from Naaman for his being cleansed from leprosy. But Elisha knew of the wrongdoing without even being there (wrongdoers take note) and so the leprosy of Naaman cleaved unto Gehazi because his heart was fixed on the things of the world, and not on the things of God.

This is like a good meal to me to discuss the OT so thanks for that! Any further thoughts on where Jesus is in this scripture? :)

Blessings, Con

You ginks will always find a way not to believe the ink and paper you worship. That called self deception which is also a demon.

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

(1Cor 2:14 [AKJV])
But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

God said He would hand such people over to a demon of delusion, because they reject His Word.

Hey Russell! I was just thinking that the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 is like a type of the church, the bride of Christ, who perceive that our merchandise is good!

Why would we need to hide and be secretive when the result of the working of God in us can be seen in our ministries? We trust in our Husband...and He is Faithful and True, amen. We have no need to skulk (eek is that a real word? lol) in the shadows, ashamed of what we do.

I appreciate your directness!

Aye indeed.

For further thoughts, yes, many. To highlight one, even just as my question to the point of if it is totally right to break with those that do not believe. Consider how it was a servant that reminded Naaman and encouraged him to turn from his wrath back towards the words of the prophet of God. In fact consider that Naaman went even to visit Elisha to begin with because of suggestion by a goodly little maid from Israel. Naaman believed them at the initial moment of their word, but not what is one of the most famous prophets in the whole Bible. Yet even he was still healed by Jesus.

Even to the point you have mentioned with Elisha saying that it shall be known there is a prophet in Israel. And to the point between how to act with disbelievers. Did not Elisha say this because the king of Israel when he received word from the king of Syria about him sending Naaman to him, rent his clothes in disbelief, thinking the king of Syria was seeking an occasion against him? Behold, the prophet did not break contact and fellowship with even the king of Israel for this disbelief, even a pagan king, a son of Ahab. Instead Elisha said unto him "let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel." Thereby even delivering the king of Israel out of his mental anguish over his suspicions of the king of Syria.

Matthew 25:14-30
14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. 15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. 20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: 27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
