Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

We are to use wisom and be harmless. If we would use more of the proverbs and less of our own thinking we would be wise sheep of Jesus. Notice we are sent as sheep, not wolf hunters. We are sent to use Godly wisdom and the gentleness of Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Titus 3:2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.

When faced with tough situations we should consider using wisdom and we must be harmless. Something to remember when we are tempted to do something foolish. We need wisdom! We need to be harmless!

To be in a disbelieving family isn't easy.

nobody wants to speak about the things of the
Lord in my household.

im like the odd one out.

this is very true...

so many christians think God has called them to be spiritual gunslingers...and the self appointed heretic hunters cause a lot of contention and strife...

really God has called us to be peaceful and not to seek conflict...
