I am not familiar with iPads, but on my PC, there is a small button above my backapace key on the upper right hand side that says prt sc which stands for print screen, I think :D Any page I am on, or that is displayed on my screen, will be "captured" to be transferred to an editing program. If you have an editing program already open when you take the screen shot, when you go into it, it should know that there is something on your clipboard (which you cannot see, much the same as ctrl + C) as well as the size of it. Clicking ctrl + N will open a new document with your screen dimensions, and so you would then click ctrl + V for paste. You should then be able to see the screenshot :)

Then you have to name it when saving it to a folder etc :) And possibly size it ;)

@posthuman uses some Notebook feature on his device for screenshots :)

Oh, not Notebook, but, he says in another recent thread here:

i open one-note or really anything like notepad, word, etc that lets me create and save a text document..
i just happen to like notepad because it automatically saves and i find it easy to work with. google keep does the same thing.

Oh, on an iPad, it would be Command + the key for paste, or new :)

The image edit program, or notebook or whatever, would also have drop downs from "File" (usually upper left hand side) one of which should be "New." "Save image as" would be in that drop down also, though learning key-pad shortcuts is good idea :)
