Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I got a new job as a tech representative, and I'm learning a lot. If anyone has any technical issues - particularly unrelated to the forum here - by all means, shoot it past me. I am really trying to hone my skill set here. :) And I'm doing web based support for high end laptops, so media enthusiasts/gamers are especially welcome.

I pray everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

Congrats!

Do you know anything about SMTP servers? I work with tech support for Xerox scanners, and I keep getting questions about how to set up stuff towards SMTP servers which I know nothing about :p The most common problems seems to be when people try to send scanned stuff as emails to their servers and the files keep disappearing in cyberspace..... Or when they need access to stuff on the servers, which I'm not certain if I should teach them at all, in case they do something silly :p

Ooh unfortunately not. I'm afraid peripherals and networking are my weak points. Looks like I have a lot to learn still! Good luck with that. :D (And thank you for the kudos).
