Noticed some folks are bailing the site because they cannot run a chat app on their mac. This is probably because in the newer versions of OS X it won't let you run an app not signed by Apple the fix is done by entering your Admin name and password on your mac in the appropriate window accessed in System Preferences. Hope this helps. I use a browser based chat so , hope this helps anyway.

The chat apps broke within a year of being posted. Mac and Window's both. Neither Mac nor Window's are even presented as options any longer. It's just old links still getting passed around.
I believe there are still homemade fixes for Windows (like yours for Mac) but they're all bandaids. Eventually those will stop working as well. The chats are merely on a slow death.
But at least you've helped out a few people till then.
