Spacing in Favorites Tool Bar

I noticed yesterday in my Google browser that my list of websites in all my folders in Favorites toolbar
is spaced out like there's extra space in between.

eg: (what was before)
Bible (folder)
Biblios.com search .......
Blue Letter Bible Home Page
BibleGateway.com

now there's extra space in between.
Bible (folder)
Biblios.com search.....
space
Blue Letter Bible Home Page
space
BibleGateway.com

Also when I click on the right top icon to access other tools eg: New Tab, new window, history etc
they too have the same extra space look.

Has Google changed this and given the extra space or maybe I've pressed some button that activated it without knowing.
How do I change it back to what was?
