First question is why are you using two different browsers?
To copy/paste you highlight the section you want to copy, hit ctrl+c. Go to where you want to put it and hit ctrl+p.

But this is not a social media thing. Copy/paste has been around since early Windows. I was 18 when we got our first PC, it did copy/paste. I'm now 42.

We used to download to desktop then upload to word or send to print, using school computers for anything but school work was forbidden. I use windows and fire fox at the same time so I don't loose my work on one while using the other search engine.

thanks. really. I was 57 now I'm 64

You can use tabs for having multiple windows open in one browser.

Your first problem is, Internet Explorer no longer exists. It is now the Edge browser for Windows 10. Secondly, why are you using TWO browsers at the same time?

Third, copy paste is probably your best option.

Fourth, all browsers have search engines built in. All you need to do is make a shortcut to one and put it on your browser speed dial.. For example, make shortcuts to Google and Bing to your speed dial.

Are you on a computer or phone? ALL BROWSERS have speed dials. Here's a screenshot of mine. The little boxes at the top are where your shortcuts go..

Your hard drive has nothing to do with windows 10. The hard drive is what holds all your programs, disk space and such..

Highlight what
I' m disabled and can only enter data with one hand. i'd like to transfer data an post some short scriptures from the word to CC without typing out the whole thing by hand. I've seen it done, I'd like to know how plz.
1. Highlight you want to copy (press and hold the left mouse button at the start of what you want to copy. Then drag the mouse pointer across the text you want to copy to it's end. The text you want to copy should now be highlighted)
2. Right click on the highlighted portion and choose 'copy' (or hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard while also pressing the C key)
3. Click on the area you want to post to.
4. Right click and choose 'paste' or use Ctrl-V to paste the copied text into the new post

every time i've tried to down load 10 I've gotten an error message insufficiant disc space, even when it was brand new..I think it has 2gs ram and they keep sending updates that just jam up everything. I have go through and selectlivly delete everything new. I don't have music, or photos [except some with no folder that appear and vanish at random] arrrgh!

I think he means his hard drive does not have enough space to hold Windows 10.

I would imagine that no matter which browser he uses, the hard drive SHOULD be able to hold the size of the browser. If not, then he needs to delete ALOT of stuff off from it. Like, for example, MY hd has 465 gb of space. Of that, I'm only using about 40 gb of space, just for the few programs, files and whatever else that it's holding..

One of his problems is he's using IE, which doesn't exist anymore. It's been turned into the Edge browser, specifically for Windows 10. So he should turn off IE, and primarily use Firefox. AND learn how to do shortcuts to his browser speed dial.. lol

Yeah, 2 gigs of memory isn't much at all. :/ Mine has 4 gigs of memory, which is fine for what I do on it..

Umm.. do u know how to do a disk clean up? Try to download CCleaner by Piriform. It cleans all the crap from your hard drive.. lol

Make it a habit to empty your browser's cache everyday, and rid it of cookies. CCleaner can help with that too.. :)

Without Win 10 he can't use edge. And I suspect his is an older computer with limited disk space. I'm having the same issue with my old tablet. As apps update their files get larger. Eventually app files will consume all the available space, forcing you to buy a new one with larger disk space. And yes, life is hard these day for the technology challenged.

Thanks for trying to help. Unless they come out with a one handed computer that I can put on lay away. I think I'm going to have to try something different. I was trying to go from explorer to desk top to fire fox so I wouldn't have to hold buttons down with my fingers and work the mouse pad with my thumb.

Buying a new computer was the last solution I wanted to hear especially since my ac went out 3 weeks ago Its been 90-100 every day and I'm waiting for the money for that. I've only been doing this for three weeks [chat I mean] I can't make the updates stop coming either. So I think i'll just have to decide to be satisfied with what I have, and be thankfull. It could be worse. bye by thnx bob
