Yes. Over 3,000 years ago in the Bible! Christians will find it of great help to know that Psalm 83 – a psalm of Asaph -- already prophesied the current Arab-Israeli conflict.

When David and the elders of Israel brought the Ark of the Covenant from the house of Obededom to Jerusalem, Asaph was appointed as one of the singers who would accompany the Ark. David was king over Israel in c 1,000 B.C. so Asaph wrote his psalms over 3,000 years ago. Which means that the current conflict was prophesied a very long time ago.

What does this psalm say?
1.
They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones (v.3). Did the Palestinian terrorists take crafty counsel with Iran before attacking Israel recently? Yes they did, since Israel was taken unawares by the attack on October 7.

2.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. (v.4) Is that not the current slogan of the Palestinians, as it has been for Israel’s enemies since 1948? The current Hamas slogan is "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free".

3.
For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee (v 5). Have not all the Arab nations “with one consent” said that Israel and the Jews must be exterminated? Asaph attributes this to an attack against God.

4.
The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.(vv6-8) All the Israel-hating Arab nations surrounding Israel are named in these verses:
Edom = current southwestern Jordan
The Ishmaelites = Saudi Arabia and all the Arab nations on the Arabian peninsula
Moab = southwestern and central Jordan
The Hagarenes = the early Arab conquerors of Mesopotamia, Syria, and Egypt
Gebal = in the foothills of Lebanon
Ammon = within present day Jordan (Amman and surroundings)
Amalek = in the Negev and southern Palestine
The Philistines = Gaza, Tyre, and Ashkelon (west coast of Palestine)
Assur = parts of Iraq, Turkey, Iran, Syria
Children of Lot = Moab and Ammon

5. Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.(v 12). Here the psalmist equates the dwellings in Israel with the houses of God. In other words it was God who brought about the establishment of modern Israel (even though the Zionist Movement was secular). So if the Arab nations could drive the Jews into the sea, or destroy them militarily, they would acquire the homes built in Israel.

6.
O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.(vv13-18)
The psalmist is now prophesying that God Himself will take action against the enemies of Israel and bring divine judgments upon them. The objective is this:that they may seek thy name, O LORD. In other words many of Israel’s enemies should repent and be converted, even as unbelieving Jews repent and be converted. But if they do not repent, then they should “perish” (which is another word for eternal damnation). But in all of this the ultimate objective is this: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. So no matter what happen is Palestine, God will be eventually glorified.

Wasn't Saudi Arabia about to sign a peace treaty with Israel? Haven't there been a number of Arab nations that did so when Trump was in office?

"Thy people" in reference to our Father is always those who hear Him, believe Him and obey Him.

We are warned in Revelation to beware of those who say they are Jews but are not, rather they are a synagogue of Satan.

All who believe comprise the true Israel of God in spirit and truth. Never ignore this truth.

This psalm lists all the Arab nations surrounding Israel as enemies, and all Israelis are not believers. Also Daniel 12:1 speaks of "thy people" (the Jews) but it also differentiates between believers and non-believers.

No. It was not Saudi Arabia but the UAE (United Arab Emirates). However, they also support the Palestinians.

Perhaps not always...Jeremiah 2...my people have committed 2 evils...
Here God is speaking of the nation Israel as a whole. They weren't exactly listening or obeying.

Since the Saudis have been funding Islamist terrorism from before 9/11, do you seriously believe that they wanted a genuine peace deal with Israel? If so why did they not stop the Houthis of Yemen from waging war against Israel recently? After all the Houthis have also been attacking S. Arabia.

Saudi Arabia hates Iran. This is why they previously aligned with the United States. It has been only since Obama, and now Biden, that relations have been strained. Since Israel and Iran are sworn enemies, it is a natural fit for Saudi Arabia to align with Israel.
Many, if not most, geopolitical experts believe the timing of attack by Hamas was designed to keep the treaty from being signed.

The many, many times Israelis and Palestinians tried to make peace — and failed

A timeline of the decades-long peace negotiations that came before the Israel-Hamas war.

By Nicole Narea@nicolenarea Nov 22, 2023, 7:00am EST

Even though Israel has approved a temporary ceasefire in its unprecedented assault on Gaza following Hamas’s October 7 attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made clear that he still believes it is a “time for war,” not for peace.
On Tuesday, he vowed that the war will continue “until Hamas is destroyed, all the hostages are released and there is nobody in Gaza who can threaten Israel.”
But while US leaders have supported the Israeli war effort, they have also held out hope for an eventual two-state solution in which Israel and a sovereign Palestine exist side by side: “The only ultimate answer here is a two-state solution that’s real,” US President Joe Biden said recently.
The two-state solution isn’t the only approach to solving the Israel-Palestine conflict. But it is the mainstream one; it’s been the international community’s approach for the last several decades. The idea is that US-brokered negotiations can lead to a peace treaty, or a “final status agreement,” which would establish a Palestinian state in Gaza and the West Bank in exchange for a permanent end to hostilities.
But in the three decades since this peace process really began — with the historic Oslo Accords in 1993 — the two-state solution has slipped further away. A lack of political will in Israel, Palestine, and the US, as well as disagreement over the precise contours of the deal, have rendered negotiations unsuccessful. Major sticking points include: what the borders of the two states should be (and where Jerusalem falls in that), whether Palestinian refugees who were forced out of what is now Israel will be able to once again live there (also known as the “right of return”), and how to establish security guarantees for both Israelis and Palestinians. Today, all of these issues remain major impediments to peace.
[Related: Everything you need to know about Israel-Palestine]
Violence perpetrated by Palestinian militants such as Hamas — an organization many countries designate as a terrorist group — as well as by Israeli security forces, has eroded trust on both sides. So, too, has Israel’s expansion of illegal settlements in West Bank territory that the international community sought to set aside for Palestine. The more extreme elements of Israeli and Palestinian society, and their political leaders, have forestalled negotiations at critical moments.
Israel and its allies have often laid the blame at the feet of Palestinians for rejecting what they saw as generous offers. “You are leading your people and the region to a catastrophe,” former US President Bill Clinton famously told the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat when he refused a peace deal proposed at Camp David in 2000.
But Palestinians contend that those offers, no matter how generous by Israeli standards, never went far enough. Israel has always had the military and diplomatic edge in the conflict, with a powerful ally in the US. And Palestinians have been forced to progressively narrow their conception of acceptable peace, let alone a fair peace, especially as Israel treats its territorial expansion as a fait accompli and normalizes relations with Arab countries that had previously fought for the Palestinian cause.
“Palestinians wonder whether they are always doomed to accept what they have previously refused just to find that it is no more an offer — if it ever was an offer — again to be faced with new attempts to extort new concessions from them for an undefined future,” writes Palestinian diplomat Afif Safieh in his 2011 book, The Peace Process: From Breakthrough to Breakdown.
Here is what you need to know about the history of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks and why they have repeatedly failed.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 KJV
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Hitler signed a number of peace treaties too before he began the war.

Sure. But Hitler was planning war. Saudi Arabia isn't.
And the verse you quoted isn't a verse to apply in general. It is speaking of a particular time.

Agreed

48 But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”

I was referring to the Abraham Accords under Trump. But you are right. The Hamas terror attack was designed to sabotage any peace deal. The Palestinians never wanted peace because they never wanted Israel in Palestine. The Arab nations ganged up on Israel several times and now Israel has to finish the job.

But once again there is a lack of wisdom by the Israeli leadership. This time they should have sent out leaflets to say WE WILL TAKE NO PRISONERS AND THIS IS A FIGHT TO THE FINISH. Instead they have recently taken prisoners when many terrorists in Gaza surrendered. So what are they going to do with these terrorists? This was supposed to be a war to the finish, but this changes everything. They will have to house and feed those who are sworn to destroy them. The USA made the same mistake and paid for it dearly. since terrorists do not abide by the Geneva Convention etc. but always take advantage of their opponents.

While it would be nice if Israel were able to destroy Hamas, having them in prison works. The one thing they cannot do is leave any free in Gaza. Then a neutral force needs to keep all terrorists out.
Then, a short time later, mysterious lasers or bombs should begin taking out the terrorist leaders in Qatar and other places.

God's people would have been the first earthly Israel had they been obedient to the letter, however this was not to be for the Children of Israel, while they were in the wilderness, were disobedient, and by their disobedience Salvation was gained by the nations.

Our Father never intended that only one people be saved. He knew that NO earthly nation could be perfect a, and this is the reason we all need Jesus Yeshua.

Nothing wrong with what you wrote here. My post was concerning your earlier post. God's people doesn't just refer to believers. It often referred to the nation Israel as a whole.

My response is to the Nation of Israel as a whole, that is the Eternal Israel.
