"I know some of you are like, 'Sorry white trashy guy, I don't eat McDonald's.' I have friends who brag about not going to McDonald's, "I would NEVER go to McDonald's." Well McDonald's wouldn't want you cause you're a jerk.

I'm tired of people acting like they're better than McDonald's. It's like, you've never set foot in McDonald's, but you have your own McDonald's. Maybe instead of buying a big mac, you read US Weekly. Hey that's still McDonald's. It's just served up a little different. Maybe your McDonald's is telling yourself that Starbucks frappucino is not a milkshake. Or maybe you watch Glee.

It's all McDonald's. McDonald's of the soul. Momentary pleasure followed by incredible guilt, eventually leading to cancer.

We all have our own Mcdonald's. It may take me a while to digest a big mac, but that tramp stamp is forever.
What is your McDonald's? What do you do, that you always regret, but you know you'll do it again later?

Energy drinks?

Bad romantic relationship?

Something you're allergic to, but eat anyway?

The latest Netflix series, that you know won't be good, but you watch anyway?

For me, my McDonald's is dairy. I'm allergic to it, get sinus crud, sniffling, sneezing and coughing when I eat it, but I love me some cheese. Ice cream... Mmmm, gotta have me a tub of Blue Bell.

Sometimes I'll be at w*rk, sniffling and clearing my throat a lot, and someone will say "Have you been eating dairy?" I reply, "Yes and it was worth every sniffle. It was delicious!"

The occasional online shopping for silly little things that just make me happy ... do i need them, not really...does it break the bank, nope... will I continue? As long as my bills are paid, groceries are bought and I've given anything I've felt led to give... then yep.

My McDonald’s is sugar and candies. I’m always feeling like I’ve been falling out of a rollercoaster after a sugar and candy trip. Did you know that I’m adding sugar to my yogurt? Whenever I’m driving I’m steadily eating sweets and sours even those things make my tongue hurt.

Afterwards being feasting on candy I’m always informing the reflection on my mirror, which is an almost 40 year old lady, that she has sugar on her lips (no, not the kind a man would like to experience).

Right then and there I’ll say out loud that candy is of the devil and never no more I will eat it again.

So now I’m off the candy wagon…until opening hours at the local filling station.

Some of these threads are really causing me to take a look at my life.

In all honesty, I am not sure that I have a McDonald's in my life.

I mean, all of my time is pretty much spent at either my secular job or in seeking to serve the Lord and others.

The evils of this world do take a toll on my soul at times, and I will seek a temporary mental escape from them by doing something like watching highlights of an NFL game on YouTube (I never watch TV), or watching some sort of love-related movie online (not the cheesy ones) in that I try to put in me what I want to come out of me, or even by participating on this website.

If I feel any sort of guilt about anything, then it would probably be in relation to just wasting time, from an eternal perspective, which could be better spent another way. I do feel guilty about my humor at times. Other than that, I honestly do not know.

A love related movie, but not the cheesy ones? I have never heard of a love related movie that was not cheesy. That's like drinking a soda, but not the kind that is wet. :p

Ain’t nothing wrong with cheesy, romantic movies. They’ve got a high “awww” rating.🤗

Let’s all go watch Legally Blonde. It’s both romantic, funny and super cheesy lol.

with extra pineapple and no anchovies :sick:
Well that fits PART of the criteria for this thread - pineapple pizza is definitely something some crazy people enjoy, and it is certainly harmful.

But... I don't know any of those crazy people who say to themselves "This is wrong. I should stop doing this." All the pineapple pizza eaters I know are very vocal about liking it, with no regrets at all. :p

Pineapple pizza would be better suited for seoulsearch's guilty pleasures thread. You know people look down on it, and think poorly of you for liking it, but you like it anyway.

I have eaten pizza with anchovies and pineapple on it (not simultaneously), and I like them both.

My go to pizza is definitely topped with black olives and mushrooms.

In the most literal sense, my McDonald's would be the Finnish burger chain Hesburger. Their burgers are about on par with Burger King and McDonald's, but the real difference is that their fries are better, and their sauces are WAY better. However, I don't really eat burgers or fries that often. My go-to fast(ish) food tends to be doner kebab. Although perhaps that's at least marginally healthier (depending on the side dishes too), so I don't necessarily need to feel too bad about it afterwards.

I have another one. In winter season I’m spending a lot of time on my sled. Problem is, though, that the authorities here are strict like potluck grandmas on sleds. We can only drive in designated areas, or else they’ll fine us $1,200. Then again you’ll just see them every tenth year or so, but still.

So I shouldn’t really be doing this, but it’s way too fun to not.

Aww why can't we have cool threads like this in the BDF. Mc Donalds caught my eye and I was nosy enough to come and read it. Singles have all the fun on CC.

Too many regular BDF people are just in it for the contest it seems. No matter what you say over in that forum is shot down by the gatekeepers to the LEFT and RIGHT side of the aisle.

I’m probably all wrong but that’s my two cents.😁

Oh... No. No, no, no.

Some would read the title and pop in to blast us for polluting the temples of our bodies with fast food. Some would read all the threads and blast us for doing whatever our personal McDonald's is.

That's just too much fault finding for my blood pressure.

What is a sled there? Is it what we call a snowmobile?

Here a sled is just a piece of wood with metal runners. We don't really drive it... We just ride it down a hill.
