This was one of those random verses i found. I wanted to share this verse. We all have days when everything seems to go wrong. We may not feel like anyone hears us, but God does. God hears us in all circumstances.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always,
17 Pray continually,
18 give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God's
will for you in Christ Jesus.

"Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices.
You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy."

Good verses! I like to remind people that it is give thanks in all circumstances not for all circumstances. Think about Paul and Silas thrown in prison, singing praises to God. God didn't put them there but he sure delivered them.

Yet, Eph.5:20 says to give thanks FOR all things.

It is our faith trusting that God has allowed something in our life for His purposes for us.
It is surrendering - and letting go of control. Like walking into the eye of the storm where you can find peace, and the ability to endure.
It is sanctifying (setting it apart) it for God to be glorified in.
It is remembering that Jesus only gave thanks when there was not enough food to feed the thousands of people. It is following His example.
