Simply, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are separate entities yet they are one spirit in other words, one in agreement. Just like a husband and wife are separate beings but yet are still one flesh, for they are one in agreement. In Hebrew the word God in Genesis 1:1 is translated as Alahayam or Yiddish (Elohim) is plural for one than one entity.
Gen 1:26 And God said,
Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
'Let us' shows that it was more than one entity creating the heavens and the earth.
You hit some interesting points because many believe that Christ is the only entity, when in fact, he is the mediator between the Father and the Holy Spirit, he came in the flesh to fulfill his Father ( I AM that I AM) will in establishing a new covenant of the law of Moses which was broken.
