You really NEED to consider:

WHAT the problem is … WHY there is a problem … What you need to understand

Your church should be teaching …
abstain from sin, sincerely repent of all your sins, have a strong powerful faith to believe that
God will answer all of your righteous prayers, and prepare to go through the tribulation!

If your church is not focusing on these important truths, you are probably wasting your time
there,
and I suggest that you get out from among them ... and get with God’s program!
(But, if you happen to understand all of this, God may want you to stay and teach the others.)

Almost ALL of today’s church leaders are NOT God’s shepherds!
They are merely hirelings (John 10:11-13), for one or more of the following reasons:
-- they are just ignorant of what the Scriptures teach … because of being
deceived by Satan, brainwashed with their denomination’s false doctrines, etc.
-- they just choose to teach what pleases the members (2 Tim 4:3-4)
-- they are low-key, being afraid of the increasing government regulations
-- their top-priorities do NOT include your spiritual well-being … these top-priorities are:
their job, keeping members, their tax-free status, paying off the church mortgage, etc.

And just where does that leave YOU?
That leaves YOU and YOUR salvation as a low-priority item on their lists of priorities!

Many Spirit-filled Christians on Internet radio continually show their disgust for
the incredibly-disgraceful spiritual condition of today’s churches!

The guaranteed deadliest short list on the whole planet …
Disastrous false doctrines from Satan that most churches have been teaching
cessationism … devastating to God’s plan for evangeizing the world
OSAS … responsible for millions of lukewarm believers going to hell
pre-trib rapture … responsible for millions of unprepared believers going to hell
(If you wish to pursue one of these further, I suggest that you start a thread.)

Several times, Jesus warned:
“Let no one deceive you by any means.”

But, the most important thing is …
for the Holy Spirit to reveal to you that what I am warning about is the truth!

every church should be a discipline church.

they should be focused on christian growth, raising up leaders. and growing the church by winning the lost

they should be focused on doing, not sitting and just being couch potatoes.

The should be focused on serving others, serving each other, spreading the gospel. and serving the world.

some notes.

1. A church focused on sin has issues, if there is that much sin in the church they need to focus on sin, and not serving others. they need to figure out why their is so much sin.
2. A church should not be doing 20 minutes sermonettes. But preach the word in a categorical system. Take a book. keep on going through it until your done, this is the only way to get the whole council of God.
3. A church should be focused on the body. They should be seeing each other all the time, nut just a few hours on sunday and maybe one night a week prayer meeting.

if one wants to know what a church should look like, read about the churches in acts. They Ate together, They studied together, They prayed together, They hung out with each other.

I am not a protestant. I do not consider the roman church a church, thus I have nothing to protest.

I belong to the body of Christ, as a member of his family. Denominations do not make us Gods children, our faith does

Yes, believers must be warned to get out of today's pathetic Laodicean churches,
which are basically all of them!
For those who don't know who these churches are, please refer to
Rev 3:14-22.

There are no perfect churches. Sometimes my church conference can be infuriating. However, the great majority of people in my church are great, loyal, supportive people. I would rather stay in my church and set an example for others than leave.

I said "basically all of them", which might be translated to mean over 90%.

I know this from many Spirit-filled BACs on Internet radio,
who are in touch with Spirit-filled evangelists, etc.
who are in touch with various churches around the country.

BTW, I'm betting you have no idea what "Spirit-filled" means.
No offense meant.

But, the Lord desires that BACs begin to understand some things.
For their lives could depend on it in the near future.

Yes, spiritual knowledge is very valuable, and especially soon.

What makes you think I don't know what spirit filled means? Why did you feel you had to say that?

Well, scatter the flock is bound to have negative consequences. Why not try praying for your church, your pastor and most of all yourself? Why find fault in others?

Me thinks the OP has a very high opinion of himself. Scripture tells us to esteem others higher in the faith. Philippians 2:3

Then, please tell us what it means.
It was a lead-in to warning of the need to know what it means.

Methinks you don't know what you should be knowing!

Thus, exactly what would you be praying for your church for?

Da Problem ... believers today want everything to stay in the status quo.
Don't rock our little comfy boat.
Don't tell us we're inadequate, not even for handling the disaster ahead.
Just tell us what our pastors tell us ... that we're a-goin' to heaven soon!

I'm assuming you believe "the easy-grace gospel"
should be included with the other 3 false doctrines?
But, it's in bed with the OSAS false doctrine.

If you are trying to reach people, maybe you should think about changing your approach. You come across as knowing everything there is to know and that is only going to turn people off. If you are trying to help people see the truth, maybe a more humble approach would draw people to you. Also, listen to what others have to say. There are many times when the teacher can become the student if they will take time to listen to others and really consider what they have to say.

God Bless

Oh the utter arrogance of some people, who claim to know all churches and their faults.

My pastor is focusing on discipleship, which means how to follow Christ. Sin is a part of that message, but the real message is following Jesus with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength!

He does a passage, exegetes the Greek or Hebrew, then shows how we can apply it to our lives. He always gives and altar call, that is the whole gospel, not the partial "love"gospel, that puts the individual above God. Our salvation is from God, to serve him, not about finding fulfillment or self in this life, or the next!

Sadly, we have members who are protesting this because it requires reading the Bible, prayer and fellowship. One has to wonder if these complainants are actually saved. My pastor also knows that many in our church are not saved, although they have been in church their whole lives.

Really, I don't know how I am going to replace my church family when I move next month! Well, I will just have to trust God he will lead me to another body of believers who put their faith in Jesus, and are growing up in the Lord!
