I don't pray for myself though perhaps I should I have seen it as a greedy pastime to think of ones self. however I will pray at a meeting regarding attitudes towards our church and members and then come home and moan so then I fail what I see as a test.
Maybe I should pray not to be so doubting and more positive that's not greedy I guess but hopefully a more positive approach to my church. Yes it can be frustrating but its my family and I wouldn't want to get out from my/our church.
Yes I have considered trying other churches but what does that achieve you have to confront issues I don't think Jesus preached anything positive about walking away from an issue.
