"And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here {am} I.
And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only {son} from me.
And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind {him} a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said {to} this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. {Jehovahjireh: that is, The Lord will see, or, provide}
And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only {son}:
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which {is} upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; {shore: Heb. lip}
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."

Psalm 104:4
Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Hebrews 1:14 "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"

Angels, both good and bad can be spirits sent forth by God for a determined purpose.

Psalm 78:49
He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Lol "In order to know Jeremiah before he was born he had to be somewhere"
Is time travel such an alien concept. The whole of history is a series of events which lead to a conclusion.
A gardener knows the types of plants etc he will plant and reap. If he can both see the beginning of an event and its end, he can literally say he knows the end before it has actually begun.
Now this is quite a concept, but for the book of revelation to be a true depiction of the end times, it has to come from knowledge of what will be.
An angel is a being who dwells with the Lord and does his bidding.
Luke 1:19 The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20 And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”
Some crazies talk about angels as a source of blessing or wealth or guidance. They are servants who should be honoured as representatives of their Lord but not addressed or thought of as something more important than that. Our power comes from the love Jesus has planted in our hearts, not through 3rd parties giving us help. It is a small step from the idea of angels as more authoritative than Jesus, to full blown heresy and new religions. But it is so much easier to say, do this are you are special, than face the lack of love, the sin, and bitterness within, and let the Lord heal you. Angels seem to justify a ministry, give it authority, and new "revelation", better than that which went before which is a simple admitting of the preacher to realise the power of love is God himself, it is the Kingdom and it overcomes all the barriers within....

Gods beautiful angels could be anyone! Thank you for this lovely post.
I remember once on a lunch break walking down the street, I gave a homeless man my last five dollar bill in my pocket, not caring that I wouldn't eat lunch. Before walking back into the office building two blocks away, I found a five dollar bill on the ground unclaimed.
Coincidence? Possibly,...but regardless I will love others always, not needing to be loved in return, for the feeling is beautiful beyond words! Praise you Jesus, I love you! God bless you all, and thank you for kindness to me! :)

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Food for thought...........!

When a person loses their soul...all that is left is an evil spirit...which has only one origin which is not from God. So yes...they still reproduce according to the spirit, and that spirit can be cut off and a new spirit born (which is the identity of the soul) through Jesus Christ...God.

Gen. 16
7 "And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.;

8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.;

9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.;

10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.;

11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction."
The 'Angel of YHWH' was not just any angel. He was YHWH's other self. The Angel was His visible aspect. In Gen 21.15-20 it was the Angel Who said, 'I will make him a great nation', But it was GOD Who was 'with the lad'.

[h=1]Isaiah 45:7King James Version (KJV)[/h] [SUP]7 [/SUP]I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
God did not create evil in the way most understand "create".
Just as the angel of death destroyed the first born (part of evils reward) by allowing such.
God did not create evil literally, but also did by allowing evil to be created.
If God did not allow evil to be created (knowing it would be if He allowed it), then God would simply be loving Himself by controlling perrfect measures of Him which never really had a choice. He "created" evil by allowing free-will (it is possible that the creator of evil (mastema/azazel/satan) had unmotivated free-will with the knowledge and resources to be completely neautral...but I am not sure.)

Either way...If God had not allowed such free will to actually choose a reward and experience it...then God would have not loved His enemies by simply creating a finished product with a memory that actually did nit happen (it is impossible for God to lie).

Hopefully that was not too difficult to understand.

The word angel is very interestingly used in Acts 12, as they thought that Rhoda had seen an apparition of Peter aka Peter's spirit. Words angel and spirit are interchangeably used here. This is a key into understanding many other things not plainly revealed in the Bible.

Acts 12
13
And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
15 And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.
16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison.

Colossians 2:18,19
18Let no one who delights in [false] humility and the worship of angels tell you that you don't deserve a prize. Such a person, whose sinful mind fills him with arrogance, gives endless details of the visions he has seen. 19He doesn't hold on to [Christ,] the head. Christ makes the whole body grow as God wants it to, through support and unity given by the joints and ligaments.

First off, We are NOT angels. We are different from them because we were created after God's image(Gen.1:26, Gen 3:22). Human has a soul while angel has no soul.

There 5 divisions of angels in heaven namely:

1 seraphims (isaiah 6 whole chapter)= these angels have 6 wings. they are Declaring the glory of God by saying " Holy, Holy, Holy ". u can read the whole verse i gave u about them.

2 Cherubims ( Ezekiel 1:1-10, Gen.3:24) = Also involved in the worship and praised of God. Cherubs are the angels which first mentioned in the bible. Each of them had four faces- that of a man,a lion, an ox, and an eagle. Each had four wings. They are protecting the Glory.

3 Living Creatures (Revelation 4 whole chapter). there are only 4 of them mentioned in the Bible. they were covered with eyes , in front and in the back. the first " living creatures " was like a lion, the 2nd was like an ox, the 3rd had a face like a man, the forth was like a flying eagle. each of them had six wings also and were covered also with eyes even under of its wings. Somewhat similar to cherubims and seraphims and yet they are different, combination between the seraphims and cherubims.

4 Arcangels (Rev 1 whole chapter, Daniel 10:13)= they are the chief angels, leading angels, warring angels, and messenger angels. There are three Arcangels mentioned in the bible such as Lucifer, Michael, and Gabriel. one of them as we knew has fallen already. Among of these three, Lucifer was the only unique arc angel who had two position in heaven. He had a position as an arcangel and the other one is a Cherub. the bible said he's also an anointed cherub(Ezekiel 28:14).

5 Angels or common angels (Gen 18: 1-19, Joshua 5:13-14)= They have NO wings, they appeared as young men in the bible. they are wingless angels. Actually there are many verses in the bible about them.

Angels have no Souls??? Lies..

You forgot to mention Raphael and Uriel.

You should read the book of enoch and other works, if you are interested in Angels. Don't let yourself go to the Kabballah and take everything with a grain of salt though.

God bless for this testimonial. People are so busy nowadays, only a few people stops for the poor, to help, the Lord is always ready us, we should do the same for homeless.
