Because, they "Sow to the Flesh and reap corruption and not to the Spirit and reap the Life of the Ages" - Romans 8:13 and Galatians 6:8.

Are you serious? Christians continue to die because the body is DEAD due to SIN and the sin NATURE that corrupts the weak flesh......I suggest loosing the wisdom of the GREEKS and take up biblical wisdom which trumps any and all worldly wisdom....!

don't you think these bodies that house us die because God is kind?

i don't want to live forever in an aging body...do you?
but One Day i'll get a body that will last an eternity. :)

The 'die' you better worry about has NOTHING to do with flesh! It has to do with the soul!
The flesh is a fleeting moment. It would be best to worry about Eternity!

Last time I read the bible, I discovered that those in Christ do not taste death. John 8:51-52. Rom. 8

Since Christ experienced death for me and I'm baptized into his death and resurrected life, I hope to just pass from this body into heaven. But my soul will not die.

I am that bread of life.Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

The death that one has to worry about is spiritual death, and not physical as man is appointed to die once. (Hebrews 9:27)
If a person claims to be a believer but is not walking properly, and accordingly to the Spirit they are headed toward spiritual death and not eternal life. A person who is born again in Christ can not let sin have dominion over them, if they do then they are not in Christ.......

Unbelievers also shall have their part in the Lake of Fire - Rev 21:8

Salvation is Spirit, Soul, and Body (I Thess 5:23), if of course you are sowing to the Spirit continually - then Rom 8:13 says you shall not die.

Kind of a trip for the carnal mind which is death - Rom 8:6

Because we are all condemned to die physically for the original sin. But we are saved spiritually by Jesus Christ, so the spiritual death part gets canceled by Grace for us Saints...

Adam made the appointment, not Jesus. Those that quote Heb 9:27, never keep reading to verse 28:
so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those whoeagerly await Him.

Then of course there is Psalm 102: 19-20 19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth;20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

Yes, but until the Lord comes back to gather His people we can all still expect to die in the flesh. But as long as you are properly walking in the Spirit, and it reflects out through how you are in the flesh then when you die in the flesh you have nothing to worry about. As you will be part of the first resurrection that the second death has no power over you......

Jesus comes IN THE SAINTS (II Thess 1:10), as you Sow to the Spirit and not the Flesh. Salvation is Spirit, Soul, and Body as I Thessalonians 5:23 states.

Jude 3...ok, So you Pray in the Spirit then as Jude 20 states, Building yourself up on your most Holy Faith?

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto the LIFE OF THE AGES.
