Judaism's Strange Gods

Christians must understand that the religion of Judaism is anti-Biblical. The true religion of the God of Israel is Christianity not Judaism. Judaism is simply a perversion of God’s original revelation to the Hebrew nation–it is the very religion of nullification of the Old Testament.

The Talmud teaches that a Jew may *kill, **steal, and ***lie to non-Jews with impunity -yet all of these actions are in violation of the 6th, 7th, and 9th commandments of Moses. Here is but one example of the Oral Law making the Word of God “of none effect.” [*Tractates Sanhedrin 58b; **Baba Mezia 24a; **Sanhedrin 57a; ***Baba Kama 113a]

The main tenet of Judaism is Jewish self-worship. Judaism has as its “god,” not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but the worship of the Jewish people. For the Talmud teaches that the Gentile is a lower form of humanity. They all believe that they have this special-ness about them, believing the myth that they, not the Christians, are the “chosen people.”

Here I go again, and I'll be standing alone, again. The Jews are special, they are Gods chosen people.God still has a plan for Jews.Romans 11.If Jews aren't special explain why they are still here, surrounded by her enemies on all sides.5 countries came against the newborn Israel and still it is here today.Persecuted and tossed out of almost every major country in the world, still here.Over 6 million killed and they are still here. Most hated of any race.Jews are a miracle.Jesus was a Jew,the Holy family were Jews, the first Christians were Jews, the patriarchs were Jews.Without the Jews there'd be no Christians. And everyone here will scalp me for saying it but I will not back down.Broken record or not..."Those who curse her will be cursed, those who bless her will be blessed.

Roughly 109 countries have expelled the Jews. And many "Christians" so called have persecuted the Jews down through the years.

No Christian can be anti-Semitic toward the Jews. Christ was a Jew, and that by divine intent. In a conversation with a Samaritan woman, Jesus declared: “alvation is from the Jews” (John 4:22). The focus, of course, was upon his personal identity as the Messiah (vv. 25-26). All people are indebted to the Hebrew nation for the Savior...Jesus acknowledged his Jewish heritage, and Christians should rejoice in this fact as well.A “remnant” of the Jews will be saved (Romans 9:27; 11:5). We need to remember that.

No, Kayla won't be standing alone. This kind of garbage has to be kicked in the can where it belongs. The Christian faith was borne out of Judaism, and to say "Judaism is anti-Biblical" is to say Christianity is also. The writer of these words is guilty of posting utterly false, blatantly foolish nonsense.

The ultimate goal of God's choice of the Jews as His chosen people was to produce the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who would be the Savior of the world. Jesus had to come from some nation or people, and God chose Israel. The fact they did not recognize Him at His visitation does not mean Israel is rejected, but merely "set aside" until the completed time of the Gentiles, as Paul wrote in his letter to the Roman church.

Romans 11, NASB
25 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery -so that you will not be wise in your own estimation -that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

This promise clearly, according to Paul, is not removed from Israel and passed on to the church, but will be fulfilled in God's time. Anyone who calls Israel "abandoned" or rejected is clueless as to what the Bible teaches.

This garbage about God reneging on His promise to Abraham just irks me to no end. How can anyone read the Bible and believe that? Replacement theology is pure evil.

Judaism's Strange Gods

1What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?

2Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

I do hope you change youre mind and not be cursing Gods chosen people

But we must understand Judaism in order to know what Jesus was fulfilling.

Matthew 20:23 Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”

Matthew 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.

Isaiah 53:12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

Leviticus 1:15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.

John 19:34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.

Matthew 23:19 You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?

ok part of the reason for the contention here is that not everyone agrees on what 'judaism' is...

most of the time what goes by the name of 'judaism' today is not the same as the belief system of the jewish people in the time of christ...let alone what was taught by moses...modern day judaism is mostly the product of rabbinic adherence to the babylonian talmud...a text which is dominated by the teachings and speculations of the successors of the pharisees...

i think we should be able to agree that God is not pleased with this religion...

And those notions have infiltrated the Christian church, starting in the fourth century.

God's chosen people in the salvific sense are only the children of the faith of Abraham (Gal 3:28-29).

Even Pharoah was God's "chosen."

Israel is not "set aside," it is "cut off" (Ro 11:17, 19) and
is on the same footing with all other unbelievers,
who will be grafted into the one olive tree of God's people if they not persist in unbelief (Ro 11:25).

God's promise to Israel is currently being fulfilled in a remnant (Ro 11:5),
just as it is among all unbelievers.

Nope. First, there is that tiny little word ei (ei) at the beginning of not only that verse, but several in this section of Paul's discussion of his Hebrew brethren. The entire paragraph here is a succession of propositions by Paul -- "if this then that." The verse offers a conjecture as a warning to those who would believe Israel is cut off from God. It is not. You have not included Paul's thoughts in the next paragraph, which prove your statement to be incorrect.

Romans 11
25
For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery --nso that you will not be wise in your own estimation -- that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;
26
and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
27
"THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

Take note, Elin, it isn't "if" here, but "when I take away their sins." And this does not indicate that the remnant is part of the church. The remnant refers to those who trust in the coming of Messiah, and His return will bring judgment on the Earth, redemption for the Tribulation saints (the church already having been granted redemption at the pre-Trib rapture), and salvation for Israel. Read Isaiah 11:1-10. It is not only assured that God restores Israel, but He restores the Earth to its original created form. His promise to Abraham is not completely fulfilled, and that promise does not pass to the church. It remains with Israel.

Read the text again. . .

Israel is "cut off" from the olive tree, the one people of God, whose holy roots are the patriarchs.

Israel will be grafted back into the one olive if it does not persist in unbelief (Ro 11:25).

You have not included Paul's thoughts in the next paragraph, which prove your statement to be incorrect.

I don't agree with either side.
There is no continuity between modern Judaism and the religion of Israel given by God. The connectivity is only through name and claim, but not in fact.

However, to go a step further, and say that these people are hardened to the Gospel... negates the first point.

They either are, or aren't, Israelites by right and birth and rite.
We can't hand them the curse and yet not hand them the title,
nor can we hand them the title without handing them the curse.

I say, preach the Gospel to all tribes, tongues, and nations,
especially to those who claim birthright,
and do not involve yourselves in worldly affairs.
God will seal his Remnant, and reveal a special Remnant during the Last Days.
Stop being a respecter of persons, and stop making divisions where the walls have been brought down.

God's future plan for Israel should not be used as an excuse to embroil ourselves in the political affairs of an earthly nation.
Future means future.
Stick to the "dispensation" you are in.
Our Calling and Commision is to build a Heavenly Kingdom, and fight a spiritual battle,
NOT to build an earthly kingdom, and help it fight a physical battle. Don't get distracted by such physical things. God has a plan for them, and you are likely not a part of it. Stop getting involved.
