If God's Creation was perfect until Eve was deceived, how did the serpent come into the Garden to begin with? Why was he (Satan?) permitted access to God's brand new Miracle?

If all is preordained (is all preordained?), was man's downfall known from 'Let there be light?'

If yes, why?

I would not have known light unless I had been in darkness...I would not have known love unless I had known hate...I would have never known Mercy unless I had needed it....because I need Christ, I know Christ.....Maybe that's your answer?

If God's Creation was perfect until Eve was deceived..........................
I don't remember the bible saying it was perfect until that moment in time.
Would you be kind enough to give me that passage? Thanks.

Excellent question, iConflicted, one I can't answer, I'll have to check the un-canonized Book of Jasher.

Ok corrected. Gen 1:31 says very good.

With that settled.. Question is still relevant I think.

A summation of a handful of scriptures have led me to conclude that this was all a grand test to allow every spirit in God's kingdom a chance to choose between the fallen kingdom of Satan and the Kingdom of God and yes....it was by design!

If God didn't tell us in the bible, why would you think He told someone that is on this board?
He did it for a reason, and He is the one with the answer.

He told me everything I know, not everything He knows.

The kingdom conflict. Satan wants to be like the most High. God offered satan grace and mercy and satan obviously turned Him Down.

We are witness for Christ and His grace and mercy to prove to satan that God Is just and fair when dealing with His creation.

Every one of us that freely chooses Christ, is another nail in satans coffin.

I believe God created humankind with free will so that we could love Him freely.

I believe the Lord our God does not want people who have no ability to make choices on how to live their life, and all throughout the bible He gives those He calls on the right to choose to follow and do what He says or to reject the calling.

"...for the original writer, the Yahwist (or J) source, the serpent was not equated with Satan (the Devil). The concept of Satan developed only later (first attested as a personal name c. 300 B.C.E. in 1 Chron 21:1[SUP][1][/SUP])"

He told me everything I know, not everything He knows.
I myself don't believe that the Bible we read today is all there is that was inspired. That's in my other thread. But is it possible that missing parts make a whole? Just maybe? I see the Bible as incomplete.

.....its all by design....

To test us? Why again? To choose between Satan and God, right?
Help me understand. I know what the Bible says, but can you (in general) make it make sense?
Was Creation always a 'Test?' Like, an experiment? (Don't laugh) Or what? If He already saw a devastating flood, saw wars, saw rape and murder and all that mankind has become... Was a test necessary?

Does free will then affect our ultimate outcome as we wage spiritual warfare, if the test was necessary?

Not all is directed at quoted posts..

Thank you for clarifying :)

So its all about Satan's ego and his Jesus envy? What a drama queen. :)

IMO when the bible says something "was good" in the eyes of the Almighty, that is perfection. im pretty sure mankind has nothing above or better than that.

Yes it was known.

They could have chose obedience or disobedience.
they had a choice.

But even though GOD knew what they would do he never walked away from them.He made a way for those that believe in his WORD to have eternal life.

That part that you mentioned about ordained is talking about it was preordained for us to be like JESUS.

I know the devil did it. I was trying to understand why.
I know some things are hidden.. but still...
I guess this is one of those questions we learn to stop asking... Why?

Yeh. Daniel is intriguing. I'm eager to study it further. Thank you :)
