Did you watch it till the end? I only ask because if you had; you may not have felt inclined to post what you did.
Most are quick to quote those words but they neglect to quote these :
Christ said Himself ... "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors" (Matthew 24:33). We know that we cannot fix a date on the second coming of Jesus, but as the above Bible verse confirms, we CAN know when it is near, EVEN AT THE DOOR!! And the Bible signs have now been fulfilled like never before in all of history, showing we are the final generation before the return of Christ Jesus.
"Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (Matthew 24:34)

At exactly 12:20 in the video:
he makes a statement showing that he has NO IDEA WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT,
proving he's done ZERO PERSONAL RESEARCH,
proving he is COMPLETELY IGNORANT OF THE TOPIC,
proving he is just READING MATERIAL WRITTEN BY SOMEONE ELSE,
and that he has NOT EVEN LOOKED OVER THE SOURCE MATERIAL BEFORE TRYING TO TEACH IT.
He PROVES, beyond all doubt, he has NO IDEA what he's talking about.

He says September 22 is the "Day Of Arafat", a Muslim Holiday, and he goes on and on about how terrible Arafat was.... making a big deal of it. Then you'll see him commenting a mistake, and graphically posting that he MISREAD, and it was supposed to be "Day of Arafa"... something that has nothing to do with Arafat.
There you have it.
The man stood up to make a video, and ENLIGHTEN everyone, and he'd NEVER EVEN READ THE SOURCE MATERIAL.
He just has no idea what he was talking about.
He didn't even look over his materials before trying to teach them.
He's rambling on and on about the "Day of Arafat", and he is completely unaware that there is no such thing.
He is completely ignorant of this whole topic.

You don't have to read my comment, since I would never watch an inaccurate prediction of the end of the world.
But I will ask you the $64,000 question:
"Have YOU read the Bible?" (I mean all of it, in order, from Genesis to Revelation? Because if you have not, I would suggest you start, and it will give you an inkling of how wrong these video teachers are!
No worries, you don't have too. But clearly some of us haven't learnt from history about people who create dates of the end of the age. Mass cult followings, then when they don't come to pass, they either deceive people further with excuses or they disband into splinters such as we see today, Seventh Day Adventists is one example.

However, he clearly doesn't understand the source materials he's teaching from.
That's not the proper way to teach on a subject.
He's probably a nice guy, and perfectly sincere,
but it's not good form to teach on a controversial subject unless you've done a lot of personal research.
Reading someone else's material, right off the page, and misunderstanding it, shows you haven't really done any study or research.

Crossnote is a REALLY SOLID guy who knows his Bible inside out and backwards and forwards. We don't always agree 100% on everything, but I know when he posts, he has sincerely looked deeply into the topic and what the Bible has to say about it.

He is merely showing things that are going to happen. EVENTS WE CAN VERIFY. What is so wrong about that? He is not teaching anything but he is supposing.
Yes, miss high and mighty I have not only read but I have been a serious student of the Bible for several yrs. Besides the fact, he is just stating how events coincide but then NOONE GOT THAT because NOONE WATCHED THE WHOLE THING.

There isn't anything to argue.

I both timestamped it and transcribed it...

If I were to go back through the video and pinpoint every bit of assumption and poor scholarship he engaged in ...
there wouldn't be enough hours in the day to write it all down.
There is no point to waste any more time with this.
